I suspect you're right about nail polish, but black shoe polish works very well. You should try it sometime. I don't know about the nail polish but I have taken a bath in bleach water and this worked very well to relieve the itch. WV J

This brings up something I was thinking while cacheing the other day. We all should be pretty well versed in identifying poisenous plants and animals for the areas we go to. Also basic first aid classes are very handy in the types of situations we find ourselves in. Just My opinion. WV J

I was out caching today and there was a large trash bag attached to a tree with garbage all around it including beer cans and cigarette packs. I took the time to pick up most of the trash and put it in the bag and still couldn't find the cache. I pick up when I can it's true if just your efforts are considered at least you make it a better world. WV J

While caching I found a Benchmark that is not listed anywhere that I can find. What should I do? Is there a way to add this to the list? wv jeepr

It amazes me the number of cachers and caches there are out there. I never thought this was this big as I am relatively new. I did find a nano as one of my first. It was a tuff one. WV J

I'm new to all of this too and have found a couple nice swag items I have traded for. I am now going to start leaving a signature item for trades. I have purchased some P 38 can openers at a reasonable price (39 cents ea) I am engraving my username into them. I carry one of these on my keyring every day and it is quite handy at times. I also on a recent trip to wal mart found mechanical technical drawing pencils in a 2 pack for .25 on clearance these were $6 originally. I think these will be nice to leave too. WV J

I recently bought a Delorme PN 20 this is my first GPS and I am new to caching (11 finds so far) I recently located a cache that gave me coords to a second cache. I know how to download the caches from the site but do not know how to manually enter them. I tried to find it in the owners manual but don't see it. Any help would be appreciated. WV Jeepr

I agree the warning about spoilers is appropriate to give those wishing for the extra challenge the opportunity to avoid the logs. However as a noob I would like to at least have a description of the container in there and an honest rating on the difficulty of the cache. WV jeepr

Thanks for the advice. I love the Seneca Rocks area. I am getting off my lazy butt and getting some much needed excercise. I don't really get disappointed about not finding the cache maybe a little obsessed. LOL I did find one mag micro today it took me 2 trips and the hint but I got it. I find the need to research the containers as I don't know what I'm looking for yet. Some cache owners don't put down what kind of container that makes it pretty tough for us noob's Again thanks for the advice . WV jeepr

I am new to geocaching and am enjoying the hunt. I would like to know any suggestions for more successful finds. I can locate the areas but am having trouble locating the actual caches. I have found 3 but Did not find 6. Should I stick to ones that have better descriptions of the cache container. Looking for larger ones instead of micros? WV Jeepr
