  1. I totally agree. cords are based on the placers gps. I have the Oregon and love the feel and the touch screen, but I don't think it has made me a better cacher just makes it more enjoyable. Thank you so much!!! these thoughts and statements have helped me alot with my decision. i will keep my 400t. my only question was the accuracy. Thanks everyone.
  2. thank you for the info. it really does help. Pat in L. , do you like your oregon? it does make sense about the guy hiding the cache and what his GPS reads at the time when he marked it. thanks so much i may end up keeping it. i have to decide quick tho
  3. hopefully this posts this time. i think Groundspeak was down for a bit and i ended up with two post the same but with no message. Anyhow i was wondering about the difference in the two. i do have the 400t but it seems not to be very accurate as my little cheezy e-trex is right on. i do like the fact i can download the caches into my 400t. the screen is ok for me as i am not be alot of water. what are your feeling on the 400t vs the colorado. i am about to take my 400 back tomorrow but want to get some thoughts on this before i do. thanks

  5. i am also very new at this. about to go find a few today. i thought i would use a light weight mesh packpack that i use for biking. it is lightweight, breathes so my back doesn't sweat, and easy to see through so i don't have to dig deep into a dark bag. it serves me well for biking so we'll see for geo-c
