  1. i would by a gps that allows pluging into a computer, not the 100
  2. i got some ideas, but im not allowed to share.
  3. Got it... change the site so that every month or 2 you MUST LOGIN and re-validate or agree to the waypoint license agreement again to keep the PQ's coming.
  4. Give me a break. I have found dozens (no, not hundreds, like some) with an eX200 and I've had no problem entering coords accurately. It's simply a matter of looking at the numbers you've keyed in before hitting Enter. I hope you're not an accountant. (sorry to sound confrontational, but give people credit for having the brains to perform a simple task) Actually it is quite simple for use geniuses to make the coordinates enter wrong. I found a couple hundred caches with a mag 315 and entered them all by hand. One day i crossed up 2 numbers and was about 300 feet off. i have a brain and i use it. laws of probability dictates that sooner or later you will screw up.
  5. id post what i call my gps but the mods might censor me actually, i just call my gps "My GPS" and that implies whatever gps i am currently using.
  6. if i was a cheap $%^ *I* would *try* this method just be sure it is sealed in well. yeah, id try that.
  7. when search by attributes is available, what you request will be possible.
  8. If I had 10$ id buy a gallon of gas and go caching so my stats would go up under the NEW system
  9. I hear http://www.gpsbabel.org has something like that
  10. I don't have tinted windows yet i have this problem in my bug. I speculate that it is the thickness of the metal in the roof and the small window sizes. Also maybe the roof shape deflects the signal?!? Anyway, the antenna makes me happy =)
  11. i actually remember it too Yarg. No one wants to play along yeah, we ain't gonna play your games
  12. i ordered it online for 55$ with shipping from www.fotoconnection.com I found them using www.froogle.com It has a magnet mount. very strong magnet i might add. I guess you could have a window mount but you get a better signal from OUTSIDE the car.
  13. I have had my magellan external antenna for 2 days now... It has increased reception in the car. Where i would get 6-7 sat at half to 3/4 power each I am getting 7-9 sats at FULL strength. It even is helping when i tried it out of the car with the antenna clipped high the bad... that cable may break some day but it looks easily fixable. it is amplified... that means since it doesnt have a battery pack that it will drain my gps i think... it seems that way. not a big deal if you are a rechargable user. over all... for auto's with poor reception this is awesome. i have a 66 bug that unless i press my gps against the glass i get no signal. this gave my 9+ sats from the roof =) i give it a buy rating =)=)=)=)=) 5 smilies
  14. There also could be howls of displeasure if it doesn't happened. I guess the question is which group will cause Jeremy the least grief. why not move them, BUT still have NON-Physical caches count.
  15. if you paid py echeck it has to clear before the transction is complete.
  16. I say if the bugs are sitting around for an extended period of time, over a month, then by all means grab the stuck ones and drop several in a new cache for others... as others said... new caches get more visits.
  17. That wasn't me For the last time
