  1. Possibly the same cache then, it was in your neck of the woods. Perhaps not such a good idea after all. I found some in green today ... Lidl sell them as reusable shopping bags but they are green not black and a bit big. They were in caches by Modejaal, I suppose I could email them !! Some of the ones I found in very wet weather and had been there a fair while and in good nick.
  2. Thanks, but those are not the ones. They are black and made of some sort of woven material almost paperlike but dry very quickly and do not absorb water. They are not waterproof but just disguise the cache. I have seen lots of them used in Northern Ireland. Come to think of it, they are a similar type material to the black material you would put under stones to prevent weeds growing. Not the thick rubbery type but the stuff that lets water soak straight through.
  3. Thanks all I checked out a few "small" places and its definately much better than metroguide europe
  4. Thanks Just what I wanted but seems a real pain to use.
  5. I just upgraded to a Garmin Legend hcx from an original legend. I have mapsource metroguide eurpoe and usa for the legend but this is now quite old and does not autoroute so I was thinking of buying City Navigator UK and Ireland but it says that it supports "major cities " in Northern Ireland which is a concern as the metroguide i have is missing loads of roads. I have a car Airis Satnav with Route 66 using Navteq maps and it is brlliant so I was wondering if anyone can tell me the actual map data versions used in the current Navigator UK/Ireland or is there any way I can download them to view on the pc (NOT TO UPLOAD TO GPS) as I dont want to waste money.
  6. Just downloaded this, and unlesss I am mistaken you need to review each and every cache in the list to save it ... waste of money as I thought you could save a list of "closest" caches.
