  1. Totally missed this one. Any left?
  2. by using this forum. I basically AM asking all the states... With all due respect, you're not asking the states. You're asking a few people that happen to come into these forums. 95% or cachers, even those that are into coins, don't come into the forums. Taking on a city coin because nobody came onto these boards to say "no, we're doing one" isn't exactly giving them a chance. Yes, many will say that anybody CAN make any coin that they want - doesn't mean that you SHOULD, though. I TOTALLY AGREE !!!!!!
  3. Sorry to point this out to you , but Indiana is on Eastern time zone.
  4. Yes it is very acceptable to log the coin from the cache and move it to another cache. This is what the coin owner wants to happen. It doesn't matter how far as log as it is moving to another cache soon.
  5. I got an extra one of these: Any offers?? Email me. Mainly looking for rare event coins as there are only 60 of these made in Antique Silver.
  6. You know if I'm in town, I'd be glad to meet up with you 2. Anywhere you all want to go caching in Indiana, I'm sure you'd be welcomed with open arms and will enjoy your time caching in this state!
  7. The picnic was a great success...only one thing missing.....Sandy...but she was there with us in spirit!!!
  8. Now I'm very curious ... where did you get this value from? I've had a search on eBay for the past 8 months or so and have not seen one show up. If I was able to buy one for that price, I'd be a very happy person!! Come on someone put one on ebay!!
  9. I'm excited about picnic as I found out that I will be able to make it after all. I will be on my "home time" the weekend of the picnic. For those that don't know what that means: I'm an OTR truck driver now and I'm scheduled to be home thhat weekend of the picnic. Looking foward to visiting everyone and sharing my new job experiences with everyone! See ya next weekend! Jim
  10. Yes Mark it is getting close,,,,I am so excited!!! Mark make sure all of your family lets me know about names cause I haven't heard from Kepinfit and kitster. Tell anybody to please let me know about names!! I would hate for someone to be left out. Talk to you later!! Pam Prairiepartner
  11. Yes 4leafclover The gas is ridiculous. Maybe next year you all can make it.
  12. Thanks for quick responce! Figured it was something like that. If all coins were like that then alot more would probably be in caches. Great Idea!
  13. I just arrived home after being on the road for the past 5 weeks and when I returned to open all my coin packages I discovered that the Geoswag : Aug 06 "tools of the trade" geocoin package had 2 coins with the same tracking number on them. I looked thru forums briefly and didn't see anything. Anyone know why? Thanks! Jim
  14. We talked to James today at the funeral and he is going to try to come to the picnic. I think he knows that Sandy would want him to keep on caching and would want him to go to this picnic. Glad to see everyone that showed up for the funeral. She was loved so much.
  15. 4leafclover, You would really have a great time. If you decide to come please email me your geo name and real name.
  16. I hope James comes to the picnic also. Sandy would really want him to come. He is a wonderful man. Lets all keep him and the family in our thoughts and prayers.
  17. This is going to be a great picnic...We will miss Sandy...but she will be there with us in spirit. Please don't forget to email me at jprairie@rtccom.net with you geocaching names and real first names so I can get name tags made out for all your family. Also the ages of the children you will be bringing. Please feel free to email any of the picnic planning team if you have any questions. Pam
  18. That was a great time Lynn. Trent called and left a message on my machine. Jim should be home this evening and we will be at the funeral tomorrow. Let us know when you guys are going.
  19. Sandy was so much more to me than a friend,,, she was just like a sister. I remember so many good times we have had. My most memorable time was when we all went caching there was Mark, Lynn, Wayne, Me and Jim. We were up near Spencer and we were hiking down a horse trail....first she got stuck in the mud and it pulled her shoe off and we had to dig for her shoe and then we were almost off the trail and a group of horse riders came along and one of the horses decided to chase Sandy...we all laughed so hard including Sandy..she was a joy to be around. If it hadn't have been for Geocaching I would have missed out on one of the closest friendships I will every have. Her family was so lucky to have her all those years...I was lucky to have her this last couple of years. My prayers are with James and the boys. You had someone that you can be so proud of. I have the memories that will last forever. I know she is in heaven with a GPS in her hand and a big smile on her beautiful face. We will miss you and we'll never forget you........
  20. For those that might interested in my geocaching/ truck driving experiences, I have started a Blog. Prairiepartners Blog Right now it's a work in progress and will try to get it up to date soon. Jim
  21. Saving those for you Torry!!
  22. I just wanted to say HI to everyone. I'm down in Mississippi in a motel as the truck I've been training on just broke down. Thats the second time in 3 weeks that the truck I've been on has had mechanical problems. I must be too hard on them..LOL.. I spent last weekend in Akron, OH and was graciously toured around for 2 days by a couple of cachers and got to do some caching and some good eating also. You know those truck stops don't always have the best food. So far I've driven from Indiana to NY to NJ,NJ to Georgia, Georgia to NJ , CT to Georgia to Chicago to NJ , NJ to Chicago, Chicago to TN. TN to Mississippi. I bet I left a few places out but I'm having a good time and catching on quick. See Ya all soon! Jim
  23. I just got a report that some coins that I mailed out over 4 months ago finally arrived in the mail. Boy did that take a long time to get there!! (and it was only a 60 mile journey)
