So if you use your GPS in this manner and you lose the lock on the satellite, does the GPS "know" to make up the distance walked while there was no sat lock? Thanks

I sent an email to OfficeMax about the Vista that I ordered 09/03 and part of the email that they sent back is below......... cancellation letters on the way for those of us that ordered later? Sure hope not. "I show that item is on backorder at this time. We estimate about 10-14 business days for backorder items. If it goes past the 10-14 days we do not get a more direct timframe, you may also be notified of the cancellation if the item can not be sourced."

I am considering purchasing Mapopolis for my Legend/IPaq combo but I want to be sure of the the availability and detail in the Mapopolis maps for my area. Has anyone had any experience with this software and would you know what the detail is like for New Brunswick, Canada and the rest of the Maritime Provinces. TIA

I am in the market for a handheld GPS but would also like the ability to match it up with my laptop for use in my vehicle. Will all handhelds do this? Anyone with any experience doing this (good or bad) The choice is so easy considering there are so few models TIA
