Oh man, I get the flu for two days and I miss all this fun.

I didn't log all the travel bugs from a recent event because I didn't see the point, and didn't feel comfortable with it. I didn't log the pocket caches I found either... for the same reason. I really don't care what other players do. I just want to keep my own numbers accurate.

Oooh, you definitely get points for that one. Hillarious. BTW, I was just considering ordering one of these before I checked the forums.

I think I handle them the same way PandyBat does. I usually just post notes saying I'll try again. And then I keep trying until I find it. I've got one DNF, which just frustrated me enough to make me quit. Of course it's been a while now, the coordinates have been adjusted... and I'll be searching for it again soon. Will probably leave my DNF on the log since it was the first log entered for that cache.

Hey everyone, Vice President Dick Cheney will be visiting our town today. My husband will be standing behind him on stage wearing his Sherriff Dept honor guard uniform... he could very likely get the opportunity to take a photo with the VP... and he refuses to take my yellow jeep travel bug with him. Come on, get me a photo of the VP holding my little yellow jeep.... What do you guys think? Rotten husband, or professional?

We've got one around here that was not moved, but was archived and then listed as a different cache. [No longer a multi.] We were FTF the second cache but that's just silly. I didn't want to log it as a find since we had already really found it earlier. But it kept bugging me... sitting on my list of nearby caches... claiming to be unfound... so I went back and changed my find on the first cache listing to a note and then logged the new one as a find.

bump. I still haven't put it on ebay. will take 40 dollars plus shipping.

If you look on the top right side of each cache description page you'll see a cache type. Check the ones that say, "This is a Microc ache." You can read the descriptions and check out the maps to see one is the cache you think you've found. If you figure out which cache it is, then post a note mentioning your find and also that it was gone later.

You can search by zipcode and see if any of the cache descriptions match the one you believe you found. Caches near Ocean City, NJ

Ok here's an odd request. Does anyone have a broken legend or other Etrex that they would be willing to part with? It doesn't need to work at all, I'd like something for my 3 year old to be able to carry, so he keeps his hands off of mine.

Didn't read a word of it... did copy the image into paint shop pro so i could reduce it and 'read' it more easily.

There's a night cache around here too. A Walk in the Park - NC People seem to think it's great. I haven't gotten it yet. I'm a little nervous about going in there while it's dark since there is a sign that says those entering after dark will be prosecuted. Lots of cachers have been visited by the cops while searching for this one... but most speak highly of it.
