  1. Thanks Groundspeak...all better now, although I had to initally clearly all the history and cookies from the PC to make it work.
  2. Like others have gone from failure to unlock the plug-in message when trying to send to my Colorado, to having maps with no caches at allm displayed. However caches are showing on the map on an android phone with c;geo. Running Windows 8.1, latest firefox and latest garmin plug-in. Really hope this gets sorted soon.
  3. I have had the same issue "The plug-in was not unlocked successfully" whilst trying to download caches from the map to my Colorado 300 ( windows 8.1 and firefox) also tried on a pc running windows 7 and chrome - same error message and with a different. However I was able to download the caches successfully from the list rather than the map which is a big pain and takes way longer....really hope this gets fixed very soon.
  4. @bean grower - fair comment. Just always like to think that fellow geocachers have some respect for those who also play the game. You are right too about not putting things out that you care about losing.
  5. Thanks very much for the advice and suggestions although I personally would not consider 3 emails over the course of 12 months harrassment, especially when someone has my property! Will heed advice however about the cache page for both my TB and the one owned by the people who have my trackable. Also the suggestion about reviving the Tb in a while is a good one and makes me feel a little less despondent Ok ..will carry on waiting......
  6. My TB (TB4FM75) was logged a year ago and the person still has it. I have emailed them several times and twice had the reply that they will move it on at some point. Still waiting grrrrrrrrr Have even posted a reminder on their OWN cache page.Any ideas what else I can do?
  7. Same as others here - no caches at all showing on the map - have tried on Firefox/I.E. and also android app c:geo. Geocaching .com itself is exceedingly slow too.
  8. That can't be it because it fully complies. I am going to go with the API angle. I don't know /understand all the ramifications..personally use premium membership +Colarado+Trimble navigator but husband uses C:geo when out and about but am pretty sold on the simplicity/ accuracy involved with C:geo to get myself an Android phone. The other day my Colorado and the Trimble had the cache over 30 feet away and the C;geo was 2 feet. Guess which was accurate! Don't understand all the tech stuff but he has used it...logging on to our account, excluding found caches etc and had no issues at all. Even had turn by turn car directions to cache, google maps , open street maps etc etc. I think it is brilliant!
  9. This is way better than Trimble Navigator which cost me nearly £30 and every other phone based caching application that I've seen and it's free. Why is it not listed on the site for android phone applications?
  10. Thanks very much Mrs B! Am ignorant in the ways of most things American. Will try to be patient
  11. When my auto renewal failed I manually decided to pay with Paypal which glitched halfway through, so went on to pay with a credit card. Sadly, both payments appear to have been made and despite trying to contact Groundspeak since May 29 have had zero response. Does anyone have any experience with their response to this sort of thing or have any advice for getting my money back? Thanks
