For me it was a mention on either Slashdot or TheRegistry. Had a look to see what all the fuss was about then went and bought my wee yellow Etrex (Ihave no other use for GPS that I can think of). I have introduced one person so far who doesn't frequent the forums so I'll say mention him anyway, it's DarkEntity. a good caching buddy.
LisaS, that is about 40 or 50 miles from miles, a nice trip down the coast. If I', heading down that way this weekend, I'll take a pic for you. Anyone about 33, 58.7
I have just completed the West Highland Way series, spread over 8 days it's a 94 mile walk from Milngavie (just north of Glasgow) to Forth William. Only one cache a day but fantastic views along the way and well worth it if you have the time and energy.
When I first read this, I thought surely they can't be talking about that. Then I picked my mind out the gutter and realised it was just my dirty mind.
Hi folks, first post and still waiting for my wee etrex to arrive in the post, I was just wandering if anyone in the Glasgow area would be willing to let me tag along on a cache hunt to see what it's all about. At least unti i get my own etrex and go off wandering on my own.
