Ron, you can click on the poster's name above their avatar to get to the profile. That still works. It also looks like the icon is back. GS! ...and that's why we don't rent pigs!

  6. All in all, it was a good trip. Searched 24. Found 18. The Christmas cache offered by Jaimee and Pat was a big bonus. After we talked for a while, I discovered that I was allowed to take the whole cache, ammo can and all. Thanks again. I didn't get any caches planted like I wanted to, though. I watched for good spots, but being unfamliar with the different areas of town, and not wanting to duplicate, I was reluctant to leave caches. Need more planning time. Looking forward going to Modesto again. Still a few more caches to grab including some old nemeses. Maybe, if the next get-together is on a weekend I'll be able to attend. GS!
  7. My mistake!! See Central Valley Cachers forum
  8. Grettings everyone! I'm heading on up to Modesto this Saturday for one of my mega-caching trips. I have 22 area caches planned out to search. With luck, I'll find 14 or 15. I've learned from previous trips that the Modesto caches can be a little tough sometimes. I'll have my pocket full of quarters (george), this time. And, I hope to plant a couple of my own micros, so that you can get a taste of my style of cache hides. To top of the trip, LuvOzzy should have the Christmas Quiz cache ready. This was a cache she offered for the first correct answers to some trivia questions she posted a few pages back. Don't know what Jaimee has planned, but I know that it'll be a challenge. Maybe I'll get to meet some of you while you are out and about on Saturday. GS!

  10. What? Who? Me? Thanks Jaimee! When I first saw your quiz this morning, I thought someone surely would have sent you the answers by now. The questions were fun to research. The Harry Potter question had me worried. I was surprised to see a total synopsis of the movie on one site. I'll plan a trip to Modesto for January. There's a good batch of new caches, and some old ones that snookered me the last time, in town. Probably the weekend of the 11th. I'll send you a note when I'm sure. Thanks Again! GS!
  11. Try this link instead: geocaching.com
  12. Go here: geocaching.com Find the grey box in the top right corner and change the State to Nevada. Click on GO. Change the local city to Las Vegas and click GET CACHES.
  13. If you like hiking, try the 4 Colony Mill caches (GCB03 GCB04 GCB05 GCB06) in Sequoia NP. Also in Sequoia, GPS Challenge (GC1F26) is a wild cross country trek. (I've failed twice) Hike to the top of Little Baldy (GC9179) for a virtual cache. Muir Grove (GC135E) is another in the park. Entrance to the park will cost $10, unless you have a NP pass. Others to try: Cache Out (GC523), How 'bout a hike?(GC94AA), Winchell Overlook (GC2AC6), You're going to put some miles on the car to get near most of these, from Lemoore. But they are worth it. For a close challenge, try The Bastille(GC4F06) in Hanford. I've stumped a few people with it.
