We have an eTrex Vista that was found by the side of the road in Florida recently and we wondered if it may have belonged to a cacher. It is brand new apart from the scratches where it hit the asphalt. If you can tell me the area/road that it may have been lost then we may be able to re-unite you. The Hokesters from England

EEK - didn't we do that exact same thing at THAT cache in 2004 or was it 2005

I don't think anyone should HAVE to drive and I know I am lucky to be able to drive and able to afford a vehicle and fuel it in order to cache. I still do not think it should be demanded that we post station details on a cache page (event or otherwise). And the OP didn't demand but however he did infer that he would like it to be mandatory - which is unacceptable. It isn't mandatory to include parking co-ords and neither should it be mandatory to include ANY other information apart from the location of the event. Still I think it is a good idea - as I said in my original response.

Oh! did I mention the option of contacting the event organiser #through their profile to ask for the local station, taxi rank, curry house, KFC!!! grrrr
-
And there's me thinking I had put in a level headed "opinion".
-
Whilst I think there is nothing wrong with the idea I totally disagree with demanding this information on events. I really don't think it is too tricky to work it out for yourself. Slightly on topic - it may be useful to add the contact details of the local chippy and Chinese, Indian and pizza takeaways going by comments at two recent events P.S. Don't start because I haven't included kebab houses or sushi restaurants

HAZELS!!!! Well Done :D

oooh! we could have a mini-meet -
Just to let you know that Hokesters.co.uk will be down for a few hours today. If you wish to use the applet (Java) from your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc) please use the link GeoChat2. With the Hokesters server being down I am afraid users of my webcam service will not be able to update their webcam pictures until they come back up again and current pictures may dissapear from GeoTV.
