Hi all. I am a complete newbie, having just found out about this two days ago. I have located some sites in my local area (Aberystwyth) and would be glad of some company, as I will be hunting on foot or pushbike, and without GPSr; although some of the easier ones should be managed without one for now. Any hints or tips are also welcome. Can't wait to get started Seems there are no geocachers in this area at all!! I now have a Geko 201, and have found my first three caches without too much trouble, as I knew the areas they were in and the Geko just confirmed the location. There don't seem to be any other caches in my local area so I wll be addressing that shortly. Maybe that will bring some people into the area, or get those in the area interested in caching. That way I will have someone to play with Maybe my motto should be "Where there's a will there's a way" Well you have found your way into GeoChat which is always a good way to make GeoFriends - there will be someone out there to help you - I can guarantee it!
