  1. Yup Rubberstampz is the one to go for Mine is as my avitar. <- far left.
  2. As said you can load Tomtom to your PDA. Also you can download ALL the cashes in the UK as POIs to Tomtom.
  3. I had one there once (a cache I mean) but it kept on getting muggled, so I moved it elseware. And it still got muggled.
  4. Oh how the scene has changed since when I first started the game.
  5. I don't think I will stay the course. So I need not pay. If a PM sets a PM cache, and there are no other PMs in the area, then the cache would not be found. How frustrating for the PM that set the PM cache... Serves them right...
  6. A Cache full of CASH. Well some one had to say it so I am the FTS
  7. It might have been me as I have used my 'Tomtom go' to find caches with. In the 'go to' you can select a geocache and it takes you there. Driving most of the way and then on foot. When I get so that I am standing on the cache I then can 'zoom' in, and that gets me closer. But you still cannot beat the etrex.
  8. Should I, shan't I, Should I shan't I should I pay the fee Should I become a PM again, I don't know, but it's up to me. When I was, the stuff I got was of no use to me. As I am a paper cacher, as I have mentioned a time or three. I feel there must be more to life than hunt the plastic box. I could stay and rot in bed and smell just like my socks. But I like the exercise it gives. To me and to my dog. We used to go out in all sorts of weather, rain and even fog. Shall I pay the dollars to them to keep the game alive? I suppose I must it is only cash, and it helps me to survive.
  9. Ask yourself. How many other forums does one visit just to see what is what? I do often. If what I see is of interest and seems reasonable sensible, I will log in. If not, I am what you could say. Just passing through.
  10. I always thought that the object of geocoins as travel bugs was to move them around from cache to cache???
  11. If you are not a premium member. How do you get all those cache pages on your PPC?
  12. I have two pairs of mini bins One set I bought at a boot sale 30mag X 25. Size 110mm X 65mm. and they are small and do the job. I carry them in my cacheing bag Cost £10 My other pair are Minox 12 X 25. They are the same size Cost... Don't know as my daughter bought them for me.
  13. For $1000 you could get a very nice collectable antique. That could sell again in a few years time. What would this geocoin be worth if for some silly reason geocaching went flat, and every one lost interest?
  14. OH NO!!! My printers has packed up. How am I going to get my cache sheets? I know, I have my Ipaq 3870. Now How do I load all the cache pages that I have not done within a 20 mile radius of my home? Will I be able to find them with the other stuff I have loaded on it. Such as. Tomtom Nav 2, Some Memory maps, 28 ebooks. 6 games.... I luv it on ear...
  15. Not if I fill my own carts... ( We ain't going to start this all over again?)
  16. Go on Ebay, Look under 'Sony PSP screen protectors' there is a guy selling screen protectors for these 2 for £1.99 post free I got some they are OK and you could cut them down to fit. Blokes ID. Kevan8497. PM him and give him the size you want. See what he says.
  17. If you don't get it sorted out I can tell you where you can get a ream of A4 80gm for £1.50. Now going back into my cave before it gets dark and the wild animals start lurking.
  18. I ain't saying nothing. Paperless cacheing... Bah Humbug.
  19. Paper has a finite recycle path every time it is recycled it's fibred length shortens and there becomes a point that it is only good for burning in the Power stations you mention above. Paper production also uses a large amount of energy. How do you get the inks off recycled paper? With bleaching agents. Paper is not as green as you think. I have the equivalent of 9000+ caches on my PDA, and this can be updated whenever I require, so no need to worry about any cache sheet, or flicking through to find I have not printed that page. Ok what you say is good for anyone that travels around the country and has these caches to hand on their PDA. For reasons I do not travel too far for my caching. On friday I did 3 caches just a few miles from home. So All I had was 3 sheets that were the cache info and on the back was printed the OS map with the cache marked. I have tried loading one time caches on my Ipaq, plus I had the OS map of the area. What with my Altina Bluetooth gps RX linked to the Ipaq. I found it was more difficult to use than my yellow etrex and the paper. At times the Ipaq would not comunicate with the Altina. Frustrating it was.
  20. There is no Geocaches or safety speed cameras on there. You could always draw them on a paper map Very good 10 out of 10.
  21. There is no Geocaches or safety speed cameras on there.
  22. Ream of paper £1.50 Boot sale. My epson C66 carts £2.00 each My HP Photosmart 7960 That I only use for photos. No: 59 grey cart £0.99 postage £2,00 ebay. HP 58 colour £8.00 incl post. Ebay. destruction of rain forest................... $1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 When done with Sheets go into the recycle bin. So what about the electicity needed to recharge the batteries in PDAs? Power stations, burning whatever fossel fuel, Emissions from powerstations, bigger hole in the ozone layer.
  23. You will have to find me first.. Big Brother is watching you No he ain't. He is living in Malta.
  24. Thanks for the link. We downloaded speed cameras UK poi (created by users) from tomtom's own website here which is free. All UK caches. You will need to log in to remove hidden/found caches first. You beat me to it. As for the free Safety speed camera data base for the 'Tomtom' on that site, you will notice that it is 2003. a bit out of date. I have Jan 2006 if any one wants it. (email me) It should be free to me from the 'Pocket GPS world' site as I did contribute loads of London cameras to it when it was being built.
