I took a new packet of 'Wet Wipes' from a cache recently and needed them on the way home for my daughter who was travel sick (yuk). It was the best move I made that day and got me thinking has anyone else picked up a really useful cache item??

This is an interesting site to watch! I often take the ferry from Harwich to Germany and have thrown many a bottle into the North Sea. But whatever the conditions or wherever I throw it - they all seem to turn up on the Dutch coast!!! Chatham Islands seems a bit optimistic!!

We enjoy both long walks and quick cache dashes, but it can be disappointing to do a long trek only to find a micro which could, more often than not, have been a proper cache - the kids look forward to swapping items after a 1 or 2 mile trek!

I'd love to know which geocacher introduced me! ! Caching was mentioned on my OU intranet site in March by another student studying an environmental course saying it was taking up too much of their study time!! Being nosy, I found GC via Google and saw that my nearest cache was only 1 mile away and contained a TB wanting to visit Europe!! As I was off to Germany 2 days later I drove there straight away and picked it up. The student was right - it was addictive and that's why I'm typing this rather than finishing my essay!!
