When I first announced the mission, our gorgeous Jake was still with us. He is the one on the picture of the first post. But we had to let him cross the Rainbow Bridge on March 10th

I never thought I would be able to take a picture of his little sister Mystic wishing you all a very Happy Easter but, we made it. This means you will see her more often on the next missions :D

Mystic says she has some huge paw prints to fill... So, she'll be a big girl and pose for you every now and then.:D:wub:

Don't worry about it. The trackable is hardly likely to stay in one country, and it would be a very 'busy' page if you supplied every language of the world.

I wasn't suggesting 'every language in the world.' Just the language of the country the trackable is placed in first.

  3. I am fairly sure that the trackable's page gives the option to translate languages. Some people can read other languages, or enough to get an idea of the meaning. Some people will even use a language translation app on their own.  I suggest making a simple goal for the trackables. You may even use a translation app and add the goal in the language of the country where you will be placing the trackable on the trackable's page.

Can't believe the haloween mission arrived today with a significant delay.

Thanks Cobra Leader 312 greetings from the Netherlands,

I am sooo happy to hear that this Mission made it to you. I'm very sorry it took this long for you to receive your Mission. Cobra Leader 312 and I were in contact, so I know they sent a replacement. Maybe the shipping ghosts will let go of the first one and, you'll get that one, too... or maybe it will end up back where it began.

When you post the tracking number, Everyone can see that info. Not info everyone should have access to. I highly suggest removing the photo/screenshot with that number.

  11. Place it in a geocache large enough to hold it properly --- unless the cache owner requests no trackables in their cache. Also, be mindful that the cache will be found by other cachers and, not be in danger of being muggled. When you log the cache online, click 'Log Geocache' and you will get a drop-down list of trackables. Choose Visit or Drop. Being that you are the owner, you will also have a list on your caching page with all your owned trackables and their alpha-numeric tracking codes. If you are moving a trackable owned by someone else, make sure to write down the alpha-numeric tracking code and keep your note until you log it. You can't log a trackable owned by someone else without that code.

That is what I am afraid of on their end.

That is what I always thought which is why I keep the marked value at 10 or less.

Yea, they told me that too.  If the receiver didn't pay any fees it would come back to me (eventually I am sure) and they wouldn't refund the shipping.

The 'bad' thing about stating a value of 10 is that, if a package went missing and the sender had insurance on the package and proof, all package insurance would cover is that amount.

Sadly, it makes me re-think hosting future Missions.

  13. I think it is absolutely outrageous that the Recipient should be made to pay fees, taxes or whatever term the post office/shippers/customs use--- On A Gift, no matter the value of the Gift.  Taxes were paid when the gift was purchased, shipping was paid for. And, how many issues have we had with our Missions not even making it to the recipient? Some were returned to sender and sender was expected to Pay Again to resend!!!

  18. I'd say yes you want to include all the Goals in the description. Some people who move trackables do their best to help the trackable achieve the goal. Having the Goals in the description may also help to keep the trackable going in the direction of the desired locations.

Can you please show me how I can ignore a certain thread? And I'm also reading only on a PC in an webbrouser and not on a phone.

In green on the top right corner, click Following. Adjust how many emails you want to receive or click Unfollow

I'm not receiving any emails regarding new topics/postings. It's just the fact when browsing the forum that the category "Trackables" turns bold is alluring me to look for new content.

As much as I really like the funcionallity of this forum, it is missing an ignore function for threads. At least so far I haven't found it ;)

This is done on the individual Forum post and is specific to that topic. I use a laptop and haven't figured out where the setting is on a phone.

Not sure how to phrase my request...... so please take it just as a lone datapoint of one forum member.

I wish it would be possible to technically ignore certain threads like this and the undoubtly following threads regarding that geocoin missions.

But unfortunately it is not and since I'm interested in new postings and threads in the category "trackables" it's increasingly annoying that since months (not to say years) the far majority of postings here concerns only this repetitive missions and continiusly new and unread postings are generated by the participants of that missions.

I don't want to spoil your fun but this consecutive postings like above pulled finally my trigger ;)

For those who don't want to receive multiple emails, go to the green box on the top right that says FOLLOWING and click on it. You can adjust how often you receive emails.

  22. roadmedic, I did a little stalking on your profile and there are no trackables listed as being in the caches you found today. There is a possibility that the bug you found isn't trackable. Or, it wasn't logged into the cache. You may post photos of both sides of the bug with the code covered in this thread and maybe someone would have info on the bug for you.
