  1. A little hint for my Mission partner!!!

My favorites are astronomy/astrology, new age, alien, Celtic, Egyptian, OWL, hedgehog, horse, dog, dragons, cars, motorcycles, colorful/glow. The top on my wish list are Kealia's Well Rounded Cacher 81 Challenge Coin, the Bell Witch Mystery.

I enjoy surprises, too, and would be happy with any Coins I may receive for Missions!!!

It is wonderful to see folks from so many countries joining as it is really fun

to get a gift from another part of the world!!!

    Thanks again to Claire!!!

  2. I'm in for one Mission!!!

P.S. FAIR WARNING---I'm going to host the Easter Mission!!!

  3. I want to say THANK YOU to Strombus for sending me a Christmas Card and their gorgeous personal Coin and Pathtag to thank me for the Mission I sent to them!!!

That was sooo sweet and unexpected!!!

And, I got to meet Sweetlife in Florida at the First Light 2015 Event!!! :D:D :D

Just had a bowl of popcorn in honor of those still waiting!!! :drama::santa::drama:

  4. Two ways to do it once the pics are on a page. If they aren't on some kind of url page, you can't do it until they are.

add the [ img ] at the front and [ /img ] at the end ...

    or

copy (ctrl c) the url, come to the 'post' page, click the picture box 2 frames to the right of the smiley face in the tool bar, paste (ctrl v) the url into the 'insert url' line, then click 'insert image'. That process adds the [ img ] and [ /img ] to the url line ...

(remove the spaces between the brackets and the 'url'. In plain text, it is still a command and ignores the [ img ])

    Thanks Roy, but holy crap---TECHNOLOGY OVERLOAD...TILT...TILT...TILT!!!!!! :blink::wacko::unsure:

Thanks for posting the images for me!!!

    Have a blast in Reno!!!

  5. I SAW SANTA---almost!!! As I returned from shopping for pet's foods (yes, more than one stop for that)the mailman was putting a package in my mailbox.:ph34r::santa:

My amazing Mission arrived from Dofferson in the Netherlands!!!

Words cannot express how awesome the Mission gifts are!!! I opened the package to find a "box" shaped like an old book that contained a lovely note, a Christmas Card, a candle, some yummies and not one, not two, but THREE COINS!!!:D:surprise:

This time, pretty sure I figured out how to add pictures!!!

MANY THANKS to DOFFERSON for the wonderful Christmas surprise!!!

And, to CLAIRE for hosting (again)!!! :santa: :santa: :santa:

Breaking out more popcorn to await the delivery of the remaining Missions :drama::omnomnom::drama:

"This time, pretty sure I figured out how to add pictures!!!"---or, not!!! Still trying.

A coin and a card! That is what I sent. And what did I get? A golden package, very heavy! It is beautiful and it will go under my Christmas tree. Christmas trees in Hungary are delivered by Baby Jesus or some angels on the evening of December 24th. So, I have to wait until then. But, at least we can open our gifts that evening!

Thank you GEOCHARMER81 for this fantastic package. Thank you for not sending it earlier, because I would not be able to wait longer. My teenage son says maybe there is nothing in the box. It is highly unlikely, but even if that was the case, I love it, just because it came in a gold wrap which makes it look so nice, so special. :-) Thank you. Oh, I can hardly wait!

Strombus, Thank you for posting---I was worried the package may not get to you before Christmas!!! I hope you like what is inside!!! Glad you think it is nicely wrapped as I had a cast on a broken wrist when I wrapped it. The sweet lady at the Post Office had to help me tape the label on it. :) Ironically, the cast came off today---still have some healing to do, though. :yikes:

Thanks to Claire for hosting!!!:santa::cool: It is so fun watching as the Missions arrive by proxy Santas!!! :santa: :santa: :santa:

    Dear Santa,

I've been good this year. Well, I haven't been naughty. OK, there was that time with that reindeer, but that was only once and let us not get onto that.

I've been reasonably good this year. What I would like for Christmas is a Geocoin. A nice old one or one with glitters. Or one that has an interesting story behind it. Or a combination of above.

But don't feel obligated to send one from my seeking list, those are very difficult to come by. I will like anything you send me.

    Thank you Santa!

We want to know the story about the reindeer or else.... :lostsignal:

Is a picture still worth a thousand words ... ??

  10. STILL HAVE HOPE!!!

I was unable to do the Five Senses Challenge Caches (from the Going Caching Event in Rome, GA) for lack of preparation due to bad wi-fi in my hotel.

Is there anyone who is willing to sell or trade for one of the Coins from that series???

    Please contact me!!!

    Thanks, Kelly

  11. SORRY for not updating lately. I broke my wrist while caching on October 23

and it is making things more complicated than usual.

Trying to be sure who has not received their Mission yet.

    1. Getzie Family received one of two, but I'm not sure which one they got---please let me know!!!

    2. Krazy_Kajun (formerly Cajun_Hustle---I think)

Did you notify Groundspeak Headquarters of the 'On The Job' injury ... ??

Nice job on keeping track of the Missions !! :)

:omnomnom: :omnomnom: :omnomnom: :omnomnom: << too much popcorn already and need to leave room for the Noel Popcorn Mission ... !! :santa:

Must ask for Hazardous Duty Pay!!! :P

Will have to look around for the Cacher Needs Maintenance Geocoin!!!

  12. What Nevadanick says is quite true!!! One problem I have seen and personally experienced is a Coin being logged improperly, late or disappearing from the Events

---especially large ones and Megas. Too much going on---people forget, Coins get lost or misplaced.

Whenever I talk about Caching, I never call it Treasure Hunting, I call it Scavenger Hunting. To me, Treasure implies that you may keep the found items.

I've only put out a few tags because once I buy, trade, win, etc. for "real" Coins they are MINE, ALL MINE!!!:laughing:
