  3. Had something else to send, so tried to send my Mission to Canada again. My post office is still not accepting packages that are going to Canada.

A little taste of reality, courtesy of my local USPS.

I went to mail a simple letter/path tag to Saskatoon today.  I was told that USPS is still not accepting mail bound for Canada.  The rep told me that Canadian Workers were "ordered" back to work.  No real settlement.  Imagine how you would feel if you were ordered to do something outside the military.  Would you be 100% productive?  Probably not.

So, with back logs already in place, still disgruntled workers doing the least that they can.  I would not expect mail to move with any urgency, any time soon.

Yes, the strike is technically over, but without a true settlement in place, things will continue to move slowly.

    Happy Holidays!!!

I commented earlier saying that I hoped the postal workers wouldn't take things out on the customers.

The Canada Post strike has ended.

Canada Post will begin accepting mail and parcels on December 19th.

Canada Post has announced that striking workers will report back to work on Tuesday, December 17th.

The first order of business will be to get mail already in the system moving towards their destinations.

Canada Post will begin picking up and receiving new items on Thursday, December 19th.

It appears they were ordered to end the strike. I hope they do their jobs properly and don't take their frustrations out on the customers.

  7. I suggest contacting the person who logged the visit to the US and politely inquire if they took the TB to the US. There is a good possibility that they logged a cache incorrectly, as well.

If it is truly a mistake, they or you can delete that log and correct the mileage on the TB. They will also have the opportunity to log the correct cache and visit your TB to the correct cache.

    I received a nice package from GeoCharmer81.

I really like the cute card and the two gorgeous coins. I like the colors on the turtle, you have good taste.

The Rainbow Bridge one fits very well with the German Shepherd ornament

I am a big fan of Olaf so, the keyring makes me very happy.

For those who might wonder why there is a licence plate included, it's because I try to get as many plates as possible for my grand-daughter who just started a collection. I'll wrap it for Christmas and give it to her then :santa:

Why the Cheerios? If someone asks, I'll tell you the story behind it :P

Thanks Kelly for the gifts and for hosting this Event!!!

You are quite welcome, Claire. :wub:Happy you like everything. You know why I chose that card and everything else was chosen just for you!!!

The Blue Turtle was done by Avroair for the Group Project for Geocoinfest 2023 in Daytona Beach, FL.

When I saw that plate number, I had to get it for you. The three numbers in a row is supposed to be good luck.

I love that you put the Cheerios in the photo!!!:D
