  1. Never said archive..just shouldn't the requirement for permission be removed. You are still signing a logbook but to get permission to log it online seems like ALR beyond logging the logsheet.
  2. Though it looks like a virtual it is not listed as one and since puzzles are not grandfathered wouldn't the requirement of getting permission to sign it be changed?
  3. If you don't want opinions or comments, then don't post in a forum. Funny I thought the Moderator suggested her to post here to find help not to get bashed by locals.
  4. And people say these forums are ridiculous... Too bad some cachers didn't get her point. She wasn't asking for comments or advice just asking if anyone was willing to help. She doesn't look like one of those cachers who place a cache and forgets it. And just because someone replaced it doesn't mean she have a volunteer to help maintain it.
  5. Hard to tell what follows the ALR rule and what doesn't. I heard other then Challenges, Virtuals, Webcams and Earthcaches ALRs are not Grandfathered. So curious if this falls in or out of the ALR. If this is ALR what do I do? GC2714
  6. This happened near me a couple months ago. Cacher A hid a cache in 'honor' of cacher B. A wanted it to be a challenge where you had to find 100 of B's caches first. The reviewer denied it for 2 main reasons. 1) Cahcer B would never be able to find it since he cannot find his own caches 2) The reviewer felt it also violated this quideline: Hmmmmmm One just got published in Washington. GC2PZ6M got to find the only Wherigos in Washington which is only 9. Seems pretty limited to me
  7. Thanks for letting us know. I have never cached with him but heard about him. And since I don't have any photos of him I will log my congrates to him in the event log and maybe will pop in and see him there.
  8. Please do not continue to spread inaccuracies. Here's an earlier post by MissJenn on the same topic. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...p;#entry4504653 Specifically: What they need to do is move that to the Guidelines page in GC. Not everyone reads blogs or forums. I just reread the Guidelines and they have not included chirps in it yet so how do other cachers know what the guidelines are?
  9. Anyone having issues with My Finds PQ? Missing caches on it but lists correct number on it
  10. Though the restrictions for putting out a Chirp cache is not to mention Garmin or links to Garmin, I noticed in the bookmark list by salsaguy that many of the cachers jump into created theirs or converted old caches including Garmin in their cache pages. One even included Garmin Chirp in the cache owner's name. So if these are allowed maybe others will think they will all be allowed.
  11. A friend of mine who lives in the NW said he just got two new souvenirs. One in Delaware and one in Germany and he has never cached in either place. Is there something wrong with this? Or is GC playing favorites? They also have the most souvenirs and I am not talking about the Mega and other events.
