I'm very new to caching; only been at it 11 months. I'm a single mom with 3 little ones, but we've found over 70 (& laid 2) despite me working full-time. I think that's an achievement; it's quality not quantity!
No, Akeira is a lot bigger than a Viszla (though I love them too!) She is the perfect colour for a Weimaraner, but admittedly, big for a girl; though she curls up well on an armchair!
What amazing pictures you've all taken!
This seems quite paltry in comparison. It is of Gwithian Towans in west Cornwall England. We were searching for Towan Time....
I have had a batch of badges made up with our logo & name on; this goes into the cache with another general geocaching badge that we bought. It's a shame when you have gone to the effort of filling a new container & have it all wiped out (& not replaced with anything!) The worst thing we found in a cache was a mouldy biscuit!
When I win the lottery, I will give up work & go out caching.................. everyday.....all day. I'll be out of the house so much, that the hired help won't have much housework to do anyway.
Aren't I considerate?!
Hiya! I'm in west Cornwall. I think this is a brilliant idea! I'm reading up as much as I can on the subject but it still seems very perplexing...
It's the co-ordinates & code to find them that I'm finding confusing! I'd love to be able to go on a couple of Caches with people to understand the basic of it all ( so would my children ~ what better way to get them into the fresh air!)
I wasn't sure whether it was bad etiquette to message local cachers dreckly!
Thanks in advance for any help! Emma
