  1. I've got one of those Altoids cameras, too. I love it!
  2. I hate caches like that and won't do them. I passed one up in Ft. Wayne that I wasn't comfortable with for similar reasons, even though many people have done the cache and the cache owner (who works in the building where the cache is located) says it's fine. When you see many police cruisers parked there and it's at a VERY busy intersection and you are in view of all that while searching for the cache, it makes for a very uncomfortable feeling. I cache for enjoyment and a situation like that is not enjoyable. My answer - no.
  3. I can't believe that cache exists and got approved.
  4. That has happened to me a few times, too. I just figured I hit something else by mistake, but it's not that easy to accidentally shut the unit down, so it's probably not that. Interesting that someone else has had that happen, too.
  5. You guys are WAAAAAAAY over my head.... I like my eXplorist, though.
  6. You can find them in the tool section.
  7. Some of you will remember me saying that I am putting up a 51-stage cache. I made it, and it's a story, kind of like an RPG with different ways that you can go, and weapons, potions, traps, and friendships. Has this been done, and if so, who has done it? Is THAT what you were trying to say?
  8. Yeah, I know. Duh me. It's been one of those mornings............ *sigh* EDIT: I bought one!
  9. I've e-mailed them to see what shipping is. I don't generally like the photo charms, but in the absence of any other one, this is great! It looks pretty nice. My problem with photo charms is that the coating on them tends to dull (I have one), but maybe this one will be different! Thanks for posting this!
  10. Auction has one bid now, so I will not end the auction early.
  11. I will end the auction early if someone wants it for the $199 plus shipping.
  12. Considering that's $221.95 and does not include Streets & Destinations or the screw for the lanyard...
  13. I will be listing this on eBay at 10:00 EDT tonight. Please e-mail or PM me if you are interested in purchasing this before the auction goes live! I bought this GPS in February, then upgraded to an eXplorist 600. It has been out on approximately a dozen geocaching trips, no more. Excellent condition, nearly new! Included is Mapsend Streets & Destinations software, as well as the screw for attaching a lanyard, which normally does not come with the Merigold. All cables and manuals are included in the original packaging. GPS is still under warranty! I'm asking $199 plus $9.99 shipping (insurance included).
  14. How do we know they are not listed on another site. Or on this guys private website. Them may not be geolitter. Being misunderstood is just one of things that you risk happening when you don't bother telling anyone what your doing. I agree.
  15. Yes, he is easy to talk to. And he can eat pizza while operating that big honkin' camera! I didn't hear the story behind chat, though. Oh, and just look who's just past CJ's head!!!
  16. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please take care of yourself and do what the doctors order. We miss you in Cheers!!!!!!!
