  1. Can I ask why?? The compass screen on most GPS units showing the countdown of distance to cache and arrow pointing the direction seem so much easier to use then staring at a bunch of ever shifting tiny numbers. I guess because of the accuracy of the distance to cache and the arrow pointing the wrong direction 75% of the time. I may have got one of the Colorado 400T that has issues, but I sure was disappointed. It may be the topography of the midwest, but the " bunch of ever shifting tiny numbers." was enough to get me hooked. the "bunch of ever shifting tiny numbers" along with a pointer to keep my young children interested will keep me off the couch and get me back in the parks.
  2. yes, latitude And longitude of present location (actual values, not icons), latitude And longitude of destination (actual values, not icons), and pointer on what direction to head. just want those 3 things to display simultaneously. Boy was I disapointed in a nearly 400 dollar purchase.
  3. Are you saying that you need to display: 1) Your present coordinates 2) Your destination coordinates 3) A map showing #1 relative to #2 simultaneously?
  4. do either of the models present the opportunity to have destination displayed as Long/Latitude as well as current position simultaneously? Currently I use my "where am I" function on my automotive gps. True paperless to me would be to display destination and current location (both by long/latitude) as well as a pointer. I ask because I owned a very highly recommended paperless GPS for 1 week and can honestly say that with my 255W and a piece of paper I was finding caches much quicker. I returned the handheld pending a bit more feedback on finding one that will meet my needs.
