  1. This coin is so cool!!!! I know I already ordered a bunch for my local folks, but people keep emailing me for more. Dude, I need another 10!
  2. http://www.travelbugracer.com/TPCoinSale.htm Order me six! THESE ROCK!!!!
  3. Just wanted to say congratulations to TPrints on hitting 3000 finds. It's great to have a master like him among us. YAY!
  4. Since the other threads are locked, I started a new one. This is to let everyone know that while the whereabouts of SBUX are still unknown, it has been confirmed that she is okay. This is now a private family matter, but they are very grateful for all your thoughts and prayers.
  5. I trust that CCCooperAgency will post to this forum or her local one when this situation is resolved. I am watching many forums very closely and will send an update as soon as I have one. They are obviously not in need of volunteers for searching or they would've asked us by now. Also, from what little we know, it seems that a search of the woods wouldn't yield anything anyway that the authorities don't already know. The most we can do is hope, pray, and stand by for news of the outcome.
  6. I'm quite sure that the authorities have been all over the area. Since they had dogs and helicopters out searching, you know they've been over ever inch of the place. Also, as previously stated by somebody else, it is IMPERATIVE that none of us take it upon ourselves to go searching. 1 you might get in the way of a certified SAR group or police investigation, 2 you might very well destroy or contaminate evidence, and 3 it looks like she's no longer in that area. Though it sucks to be so helpless in this, we can only hope, pray, think good thoughts, or whatever you do. I am watching many caching forums and area news websites. The second I find out anything, I'll pass it along to the mailing list.
  7. ------------SBUX UPDATE MAILING LIST---------------- Email me at kiawa@verizon.net in order to join this temporary mailing list. If I hear anything about her, I will email everyone on that list. That will keep you from searching the forums and hopefully free up Lynn's inbox a bit.
  8. I will be at my computer all day, and I'd be happy to take the lead. My email is kiawa@verizon.net If I hear anything new, I will email everyone. But I'll need somebody close to CCCooperAgency to keep me updated since I am not in that area. I'm worried sick, and my thoughts are with everyone involved.
  9. Like Bert, I will be keeping a web page dedicated to SBUX and information about her. If I hear anything new, I'll post it there. That will hopefully free up CCCooperAgency's mailbox a bit. www.pickledbeast.com
  10. Are there any phone numbers for police or emergency services in that area for people to call if they do know something? Maybe posting those numbers here or on that area's geocaching group's page would be useful in case somebody finds her or has information.
  11. If her cell phone is powered on, her cell phone carrier could pinpoint its location. One would think the authorities have already done this, but it's a thought in case they haven't.
  12. Screw 5 hours... I'm willing to drive anywhere. And I'll take anybody with me who wants to go. Email me through geocaching.com if you want to arrange something. Being someone who caches alone quite often, I find this very disturbing and will definitely re-think how I do things. Please let me know if I can help.
  13. Whereabouts did this occur? I'm in Erie, PA and I'm willing to drive within 5 hours of here to volunteer for any search team. I was training with a search and rescue team for awhile, so it's not unfamiliar to me. I will leave work this instant to aid in the search or do anything else I can to help. Let me know. If I can't help that way, know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and Lucy.
  14. Everything you need to know about ordering Pennsylvania Geocoins is here: http://www.pickledbeast.com/geocaching/coins/
  15. I have a master plan involving geocaching, a geocoin, a friend, and a beautiful city. However, there are currently no caches in Bastia. The closest one is "Bocca di San Antonia" just west of Monte at N 42 27.105 E 009 21.787. Are there currently any active geocachers in Corsica who could place a cache somewhere in our around the city of Bastia (northern part of the island)? I would be grateful beyond words... please please please help me if you can! Thank you! -crodler
