Hi could someone please advise me on what gps unit will do paperless caching. I have a Colorado 300 which does it well but i am getting someone a present. They have an etrex h at the moment. I Would like to know what the entry level paperless garmin is. Hope this makes sense.

Hi was just wondering if any one could let me know what large power trails, caching rings are about. I have done the chiltern hundred, which we really enjoyed. Not sure how to go about searching for such trails. Thanks in advance. Phil

ok thanks for the advice.i was trying to make the cache a bit more interesting than your standard tupperware pot. The hide is not an actual hide but is nicely disguised(i think).I will add the wording SCREWDRIVER NEEDED in bold on the cache page and mention that any person who does not sign log will have there find removed. Just didnt want to appear too bolshy. Cheers Phil

Hi one of my caches involves using a phillips screwdriver to access the actual cache and logbook. I have clearly stated in the description that a screwdriver is needed. People have been logging it as found although they have not signed the book. I posted a note saying that please dont log as found unless you sign, but then it happens again. Should I remove the log or let it go? Advice please. The cache is GC1XQN6 dont know how to link it!

Well done the whatevers! You did a lot better than I did reently when replacing the log books. 1) it took me three days 2) Two of the caches in trees, I didn't get 10 hours 54 minutes is a very fast time! Hi we followed the whatevers all weekend or so it seemed.we done it over 3 days in 15 hours and 24 miles.loved it!!!!!!!!!

Hi sorry my sister added using mobile phone ,which obviously kept sending.Sorry about that.We are doing the chiltern hundred series.Yesterday whilst doing the chartridge loop we were set upon by some horrible man who lives on pednor lane in a big ugly new house.He first told us we were childish doing geocaching, which my wife laughed at. he then reversed and told us we were trespassing as we were going in the verges! Is this right or do we have to have permission from the land owner??

Are you trespassing if you are placing or retrieving a cache on a verge?
