I cant beleive how many there are. over 4000 within 10 miles of my house, yet no one Ive spoken to have ever heard of geocaching,so whos putting them there?

I watch all the ones I find (not many yet, newby) If its a tb with a character attatched I will try and take an amusing photo and upload it to gallery I think we all should do this. Hoping to set my own going soon just waiting for devine inpsiration.
I've just done a multi cache. Got the first which gave me the coordinates for the main n52??? W0??? my gps sends you "as the crow flies" through a bog, accross a stream over a hedge etc. How can I transfer the n/w coordinates onto a map so that I can find an eaier route to my cache? Hope this makes sense.
