So does anyone know - will the Open CycleMap, as available in the paid for app, be available on the 'new' App or not? The 'street' maps, as available in the new app, are useless for the countryside and footpaths. Without a map that at least gives us some idea of the footpaths it will make the new app practically useless, Open CycleMap isn't brilliant but at least it gives you a start, 'street' maps simply does not show them - well not in the UK anyway! From a professional point of view - note location, leave alone, walk by and when back at home ring 101, report to the Police, for which you will be thanked as a responsible citizen, and let them decide what to do. Folks, Had a problem with my iPhone Geocaching app for the last few days - started with logs not submitting and kept coming up with a 'Communication Issue' and when I try to do anything such as look up a specific cache, all those in an area or download a pocket query I get 'Communication Issue - There was an issue connecting to Geocaching,com. Please try again'. Well, I've been trying for three days now! Checking settings it has all the correct log in details but gives me the message as per the title below where I enter password. I can log in fine on a standard PC through Explorer. Anybody got any ideas??? Thanks.

Folks, Thanks for the replies and using another browser is an option - but I don't really want to. This appears to be a site problem so I was looking for an answer to that scenario - anyone got any ideas?

Folks, Not sure what has happened but I can not search on the website. Been using it for a year or more and I carry searches out in the usual fashion, i.e. 'Hide and Seek a Cache' and then entering either 'by Address' or 'by Postal Code' or by Latitude and Longitude and I get the same message 'Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.asp...yy&dist=100. Operation aborted" (xxx and yyy do contain a latitude and longtitude), hit the OK button and get 'Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage'. Any help gratefull accepted?!! Regards, Stu ...

Hi, My family and I, all keen Geocachers, will be visiting Lanzarote from August 20th to 27th and staying in our families time share in Costa Teguise. Last time we came here we had not heard of geocaching so we look forward to Lanzarote being our first international finds!
