  1. Thanks to those who have responded. I'm still studying what you've recommended and will appreciate more advice.
  2. I have a Dell Axim X51v and want to add Bluetooth GPS and mapping software for use in driving. I've sort of narrowed it down to Dell's offering which uses NavTeq mapping or Garmin GPS 10 with the City Select mapping software. I want the one with best mapping and, particularly, POI detail for truckstops, fueling locations, and repair facilities. I'm concerned that NavTeq says it offers only 1M+ POI's while Garmin offers 7M+. As an aside , I will also use the unit for geocaching. I'd appreciate any experience with this setup and what GPS and software you'd recommend. I'm not locked in on either of these two, so feel free to offer alternatives. Thanks.
  3. I'm researching buying a PDA with GPS. I would like it to replace the laptop I lug around on trips I take doing driveaway (mostly delivering new trucks to locations across the US). I would like to have Wi-Fi for email and web browsing, GPS with the right mapping software for trip planning, directions, locations of truckstops, etc. A camera would be nice, but not high priority. In researching, I've found an overwhelming array of choices, but none seem to have all the right combinations. Many of you have a lot of experiences with using a PDA with GPS for geocaching (which I also enjoy), so what would you recommend if you were starting out with the purchase of a new PDA with attached GPS (I'm leaning toward bluetooth rather than built-in) and the associated mapping software? Your recommendations appreciated.
  4. I found, and have logged, a Canadian geocoin at www.geocoin.ca. I've noticed some users have been able to log their geocoin finds as part of their user ID stats at www.geocaching.com. I haven't been able to find a place where I can log these. Can anyone help? Thanks.
