  1. See Craigs list, add $5 shipping http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/ele/1873212728.html
  2. Thanks to loande fro adopting my 2 caches: Clouds on the Water (GCJZJA) and Trompe L'Oeil (GCW507)
  3. My 2 caches Clouds on the Water (GCJZJA) and Trompe L'Oeil (GCW507) are up for adoption. I have moved to New Mexico. From reading the logs; Trompe L'Oeil is damp and could use some kind of gasket (maybe a bead of silicon inside the lid.)
  4. Thanks again Auntie Weasel for bringing my TB back home. Since then I had a more unique coincidental experience. While helping to look for a missing cache I found a toy embedded in the ground. It turned out to be a SNEEZY: link I will be moving out west soon. I plan to turn this new found SNEEZY into a TB to remain in New England.
  5. People enjoy Geocaching for different reasons. I think most people will agree it can be a valuable family activity. That is why I like locationless caches so much it can bring more of the family into the game. I drive around with my 85 year old Dad searching for locationless caches. He has a list of them that he studies diligently. This is a great activity that we can do together and best of all is the conversation that ensues. All of the different goals open up new topics of conversation for us. Right now the Holy Grail for me is to locate one of the projects that my Dad worked on when he was a teen in the Civilian Conservation Corp. How could it get any better than that? To go on an adventure with my Dad and document some family history at the same time, and let him feel like he is helping me with the game. It doesn’t take me too long to search through the logs. Once I have them all open I just go to edit and search on this page for some key words like the name of the town, the road or even name of the state.
  6. I like my new Signal antenna ball except he doesn’t go on straight and spins around. The inside of the ball is hollow and it does not fit on snug. It popped on over the tip of the antenna then sits there loosely on the antenna. I would like him to face forward, but he is more interested at looking at where we have been.
