I have fun keeping track of how many days in a row I can find a Geocache (I play with my friends, too). I'm wondering if there is already a system in place that keeps track of this automatically? If there isn't, I think that would be a cool feature to add.

Ok, thanks guys! I know that would spoil the surprise, but I guess I'm just so frustrated with the fact that this has happened every other time I've tried. Looks like I'll have to find a different, less-concentrated area.

Oh snap. I never sign any of them because I just keep track of them on my phone... Is this bad?

I have tried many times to submit a Geocache, but it keeps getting disabled because it is within 528 feet of other Geocaches. I understand why this rule exists, I think it's a good one, but shouldn't the map where you go to submit your Geocache reflect the disabled areas? I have attached a screen shot of the map, and my proposed Geocache is obviously outside of any red area. TL; DR: Are there any maps that correctly reflect all the areas where Geocaches cannot be placed?

I have never used a GPS other than my phone (which is what I imagine the lanyard is for). Results so far have been scattered, but I've experienced about 90% success, so I don't see a need to use a GPS for now.

Haha, I should've clarified. It refers to the clarification found in the app which says "[+/- 16 ft]" underneath the distance away from it. That's found on the screen after tapping the compass icon in the top right. I've actually seen that number fluctuate many times, but it seems to steady out around 16'.

Decided to take a few friends caching yesterday and we had a few DNFs (found 5/8). We decided to stay as close to ground zero as possible when searching (+/- the 16 ft., of course), but still couldn't find 3 that were previously listed as found by others. TL;DR: I'm just wondering if it's a good idea to stick specifically to the coordinates (+/- 16 ft.) when searching, or can those be off by a bit sometimes? Any other tips would be appreciated. So far we're getting used to the 2.0 D/T and lower, so just getting our feet wet at this point. Thanks.
