  1. Very Quiet, infact so quiet that i didnt go out! Which cache in the UK holds the record for the longest time undiscovered???? Now that would be one quiet cache!!!!!
  2. I remember MarcB's log at a cache in the midlands (cant remember which) where he lists about 12 things that all went wrong on one hunt! LOL
  3. 9 is my top but i think if i went to the states then it would be more cause there are loads so close together!
  4. of the 106 i have found i can remember every 1. I can even remember the few hunts which have been unsucessful! I just hold this information and start writing about caches when i should be doing exam papers etc! I dont think i can relate a cache hunt to my law coursework
  5. I see that along the way you found DUNE! Those puncture wounds will remain with u for a few weeks yet!!!!!
  6. congrats team nia, and just think it was not long ago since u started!
  7. I DO! my space marine army is coming along nicely!
  8. Cache with best view: "Wye why" - from there i could see Dover and well into the channel! Most enjoyable cache: "Shining cliff" - such a beautiful area with the ridge and then the walk through the woods to the lakeside. Worst Weather experienced: "Uplifting day out" - Ended up running along side the canal and up that steep slope in horizontal rain. It only took 5 mins but i was wet through! Hardest cache to find: "Dutch Treasure" - Ok not a British cache but worthy of a mention. It took me three attempts and about 10 hours (total) to find this one! Best hiding spot for a cache: "Dont go at Midnight" - Crawling under those Rhodidendrons was amazing but also painful at my height! Place i completed my milestone "The urn" - a fitting place to finish with William Pitt watching over me, i am sure he would have been proud! I hope it is ok to name the cache (it is not meant as advertising) Bring on the next 100!
  9. just a suggesttion for the evens goal (if we want to make it interesting) how does dune sound????GC45F3 i've been there and it is certianly painful (and about level with anglesey!)
  10. We have already had one foxhunt in the south of england, if we have another one in the south as well this could deprive cachers in the north who feel it is too far to travel. my gut feeling would be to have oe in the north (eg) Ormskirk or Blackpool.
  11. look closely the tax disk is there!!!!! behind the engine funnel there is a yellow disk - could it be a tax disk?
  12. i can agree with that comment about dune!
  13. one of mine is at about 40% first finders!
  14. Is it possible to post a complete run down of everone (without totals) in the Century club, Double century club, Triple century club and Quadruple century club from the Uk so we can see who is where and congratuate them all on a wonderful year!
  15. All of them but most of all background images cause u can't read anything when u print out!
  16. quote: At the time lathama was pleased that "Grey Knight" had moved on Well who wouldn't be pleased if their TB moved??? I am only saying that i would not go to one of my caches and remove anything from it (even a T&J bear). If i miss something, i miss it there is no point going back for it cause i may find it in another part of the country in the future.
  17. quote:the point is to move on, or to pick up, a travel bug the way i look at it is that if a TB goes into a cache after i have been, well hard cheese i missed it! I wouldn't even remove a TB from my own cache
  18. i never return to a cache - unless i have planted it. I just don't see the point or the challenge.
  19. this is so cool a trekky star caches!!!!!!
  20. Answer = no TB's are alive and well everywhere in the world!!!!
  21. any day apart from a saturday in Easter is good for me! (apart from easter monday - all cause of work)
  22. Call me old fashioned but i am really against TV "advertising" for Geocaching. We find new members all the time and so don't need to go and show ourselfs up on the TV thus getting a lot more following but also getting from this following people out just to make a nonsense of our sport. I bet you that after the programme airs that 25 - 50% more caches go missing and 30-60% more TB's become M.I.A. These are my views on the subject and i am sure that the majority pf cachers here will disagree with me but i suppose thats what freedom of speech is for!
