  1. like i said at the top, i would define a series as where you go to one or two caches and they give you the co-ordinates for another cache and so one. One more to add is the Nawtwitchers Cornwall Conundrum
  2. I am not trying to draw attention to caches by doing this topic, just curious! I have run a search for caches with "series" in their name and of course got over 40 pages of results all over the globe. How many series caches are there in this country? Maybe a competion could be run for the first team to complete them all???? By series i mean a load of caches which by visiting one you gain half or even a quarter of a co-ord so that you can gain a higher level! I have found so far via searches: Alchemy series Zodiac Series Road to the Wrekin series Quest of the ring (a multi but has to be included) Spectrum series Chess pieces anybody want to add some more?
  3. i took out a couple who used to teach with my dad. they now cache here and abroad (in austria at moment)
  4. Maybe add GC60CE Its a virtual multi but you have to take 8-9 pictures to claim it
  5. be careful, some of the slopes were slippy last week, but now after the storms they will be lethal! (especially the one at Iron)
  6. As a sequel you could try either of Marcb's sequences: Road to the Wrekin Alchemy
  7. Have been to 2 and organised 2 2 organised myself were actually held at my house! I had no problem with it and both times only 3 cacher groups turned up so muddy carpets were not a problem!
  8. further to what i said above, the one i would recomend is: Coll de les Cases I walked in the area before i knew about geocaching. The area is beautiful (although a bit steep in places).
  9. couple of good ones in Andorra (if your heading that far across)
  10. i assume they use peoples profiles. On most it reads "home location". As for timing Eck'ton i clicked it over for submission and by the time the page had refreshed onto main screen and i had selected my attributes (not many) the cache was approved when i clicked the save button on attributes
  11. Cache just got approved in 90 seconds! (not that i am complaining!)
  12. mine drive me to the location, carry swaps bag and let me get on with the "technical" gps work
  13. apparently it was at harrogate, but i didnt see it!
  14. Judging by this not Ruston (unless shorts count)
  15. If the screen is curved, check the gps signal is not being bent by the glass
  16. Well worth waiting for! Love it!!!!!!!
  17. Thanks again robin. you could not have picked a better day!
  18. Started caching when i was at college. To log onto the college system had to use lathama (its my surname followed by first letter of first name) so use it here as well so i didnt forget it
  19. Hathersage would be a good place! 4 caches on the slopes of stanage, rock climbing for those who want to go (i wil bring my gear up), + 6 pubs in the village
