CONGRATULATIONS to JEEPYSR on FTF of Amazing Race! I sure had fun setting that one up and I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. Now the rest of you better get out and travel the world too. I know TeamTek was close, but they must have hit a Road Block. Sorry Bill and Amytincan, I'm going north today and can't make the meeting in Ripon. I found those caches anyway, but I have others still to do in Ripon, so I'll be back some day. When are YOU going to finish up the Stockton caches? My brother in law named us Outrageous Fortunes a few years back. I never heard of a movie by that name; we prefer to think of Hamlet when we say Outrageous Fortunes.

Yipee!! My new cache Amazing Race destination SeaWorld just popped up. Hint: it doesn't REALLY take you around the world, just Stockton. But there is a million dollar prize and a new car for the winner, and of course all those beautiful destinations. Ready, Set, GO!

Welcome Amytincan! You're joining a sport full of nuts, watch out! And welcome back Ted&Rosa and Sanruft! I was starting to worry about you Ted. Glad to see you were FTF on Trom's First. Trom's sneaky isn't he? If you liked that one try Is It Safe? And Sanruft......so sorry you missed all the hilarity at the Event. We all had a great time. In fact the event was so much fun I'm thinking of hosting another one with a different game. Did you hear the Smithsonian took one of the caches for an exhibit? -Laura of Outrageous Fortunes

Wait, I didn't say I was FTF (Fizzy has that honor). I said I was first STOCKTON cacher to find it.
-
I can't believe I was the first Stockton cacher to find TeamTek's Physics 101. I gave all the smart Stockton cachers two weeks, and still it was unfound! But this should give you all hope, because I don't know DIDDLY about physics and I found it. You probably can too!

No, it really is gone. Check out TeamTek's posting on October 8th to see what the cache was on. They actually came and took the whole darn thing away! But that's ok, because the cache was no longer on that thing and I've got another one anyway. How 'bout if I do one just for you to find Fizzy? I'll let you know when it's ready, but it will be in Stockton.

Well, I'M not afraid and I would LOVE to go but Mr. OF just rolled his eyes and said "No Way!" when I mentioned it to him. (And it would have made such a great celebration of 31 years of wedded bliss, which we will mark next Tuesday.)

The Smithsonian came and took this cache away. They are starting a new collection called "Caches Green Achers Couldn't Find".
-
Ouch! Now everyone knows, Bill. Women can FIND them, and women can PLACE them! (Even up high! ) The one you're looking for in the photo was one of my creations.

POT OF TROUBLE Hidden in yon secret glen Far beyond the eyes of men, We clever sisters brewed this pot Chanting loudly o'er the spot: "Round about the cauldron go; In the poison'd entrails throw. Eye of newt, and toe of frog, Wool of bat, and tongue of dog, Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting, Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing, For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble. Double, double toil and trouble; Fire, burn; and cauldron, bubble." Now dark potion's time has come To guard the prize from muggles dumb 'Til first to find creeps up and spies The magic wand before their eyes. Know last full moon when mists swirl'd 'round? Twas then this wand was cut and bound, Then mighty spells about this stick Were chanted softly. Here's the trick: When o'er a log it's brought to hover No previous finds will you discover, But heed me well "can't find" fakers Sanruft, Clayham and Green Achers; Beware! On you this spell will turn Because you chose the posts to spurn. Forever more you'll rue your past. If YOU employ it, you'll be LAST! So weigh this wisely would-be taker. Be it worth it? ~~~~~~~signed Mischief Maker

Oh yes, there's more.....

Thanks Bill for returning the logsheet. Yes, certainly we aren't really going to tar and feather you! We have a much better plan.........you'll see.

Hey GeoBandits, Are you coming to the event this weekend? The guys will probably need all the help they can get. Heheheheheheheeeeeee! I'm bringing feathers.

I live with a dyslexic person, and I understood immediately that Pete meant "the other right". We say that all the time here. Forman, are you dyslexic too? Laura and mloclaM of Outrageous Fortunes

Ryan, property owners frequently try to make people believe private property extends beyond their fence by posting a sign ON their fence. Sure, their fence and yard ARE private property, but that trail probably isn't. I really think they are just trying to keep the unsavory characters away from their yard, and I can't blame them, but surely we cachers aren't unsavory characters? (Well, maybe some of us are......)

Cute name, didn't you used to be BKSGRB? Now would everyone stop changing their names for a while so I can print the name tags for the event on October 2nd? Also, everyone should check the Stockton caches on the morning before they come to the event, because I've heard scuttlebutt about caches magically popping up early that morning......
-
Ok everyone, give me 40 lashes with a wet logbook and please consider this a formal apology: I'm sorry to have caused problems with a cache and promise never to steal a logbook again, but.......(whine).......(sniff).......THEY STARTED IT! The logbook has been returned to $ATM$ who will help me get it replaced. BTW we had a nice long chat about LOTS of different things .....and.....ummm .....well.....just watch out boys! Now, should we tar and feather them like Marky suggested or just let them apologize too?
-
Yeah, right.

Like Green Achers has never made any mischief???????
-
Mischief? I can't believe any CVC geocachers would be up to mischief! Well, maybe a little benign mischief, but certainly no malicious mischief!
-
Excuse me.....but my eleven year old daughter and I found this cache today with no help, no lifelines, and no male presence anywhere near. I guess I'll have to go down to Ripon soon and clear up that new cache too. LOL Seriously folks, we've just been really lucky lately. Thanks for all the fun you've provided for us, and I hope we can give back half as good. Come to the Event Cache in Stockton on October 2nd and let us know if we are anywhere near even.

3dbabyvu found Indiana Jones and the Temple of Cache today! Way to go 3dbabyvu!!!! Even with your two sons helping, the women are still way up on the men on this one. What IS it guys?

Hey everyone, why is CVC Tag!!! still in Merced? Is is because you have all seen the photo of BRS's teepee, and are totally overwhelmed that you have to build one like that? (I feel really bad that I built a cheesy little thing only 8" tall when I found it........ )
