Funny, I was trying some of the new website features, and tried "find new caches near me". I live in Texas, and the first cache on the list was 300 miles away. In Texas, yes, but I doubt I'm going to jump in my car and go for FTF. It would be nice to have an option to make "near me" mean a radius of some number of miles. I'd probably also find the current feature less than useful if I lived near another state but "near me" never included caches from just a few miles away.

At lunch I checked 5 pocket queries for Wednesday, and 4 of them were quickly processed and I got notification. The fifth one has still not been processed 5 hours later. I tried unchecking and checking it again, but it still hasn't been processed. Anyone else having PQ problems today?

I switched wireless providers, so the e-mail address to send text to my phone changed. I tried to add this as a new e-mail address, but apparently the URL in the verification e-mail has been cut off, as I get to a page that says "Sorry, the link you followed to get here is invalid." I'd like the ability to receive notifications by SMS, but I suspect it won't work until the e-mail address is validated. Is there some other way to validate the e-mail address? -Balde Runner

Hmm, I took a 3 month break last year, mostly due to hot weather and other activities. But I didn't really considering giving up completely. Taking a break was good, as it got me back to wanting to cache.

It would be greatly helpful in the future if you're going to skip newsletters that you tell us in the newsletter just prior to the one being skipped. It would save those of us less familiar with the discussion forums from figuring out how to find this information. Thanks!
