  1. The other day I was biking to a cache. I had just turned on my GPSr and then realized I was going to fast. I slammed on the front brake ~ and flipped over the handlebars! Luckily I didn't land in a cactus patch. A few scrapes on the elbow is all. The bike was fine. To add insult to injury I DIDN'T find the cache ~ and that was my fourth try on the one too!!!! Oh well! I'll try again later....
  2. I recently read in the Complete Idiot's Guide to Geocaching that there was a cache placed 1.4 miles down in the Atlantic ocean on July 19, 2002! The guy used a Russian Mir sub to place it and placed a TB in it. The TB's number is: TB31F1. Whether it's still active I'd sure like to find out! I wonder if anyone got the FTF on it?
  3. As a new geocacher, I generally try to avoid muggles. However, at one cache a security guard drove up and asked what we were doing. We told him and he said that it was fine to look for the cache, as long as we were not getting into trouble. He had heard of geocaching before, so that helped! So far, that's my worst experience!
  4. I released my first TB Hank the Snake on Feb. 14 (yep, Valentines Day!) at the Veterens Lake Trail cache in Sulphur OK. He hasn't traveled very far yet. I really like TBs so I'm hoping to release some more soon. I also like finding 'em. It's so cool to see where they have been!
  5. It is a bug, but you can usually get around it viewing the "Print Preview" and adjusting the scaling size by a small amount. This method can also be used to shrink the page down to fit on one page. Tried your suggestion ~ still doesn't work! Groundspeak, could you try to fix this bug too?
  6. When I try to print the cache page to take with me, it doesn't print tht corridnates. Would this be considered a but or is it just my computer/printer?
