  1. did you have any luck with this? And where do I go for the apps please? I'm hoping to get back to geocaching and feel a bit lost after having a nokia with the excellent navigator software ... Thanks Kit
  2. Another guilty confession. I have had a bug since Easter really sorry. It has been out completing its mission in the mean time but I am in the early stages of pregnancy which equals utterly knackered. We're on holiday next week so hope to move it on then. Kit
  3. I quite like the idea of there being a camera there, I'm new to all this but followed the instructions when I collected a travel bug about photographing where he was but was disappointed when I logged this that there were very few other photos on its webpage. Perhaps a disposable waterproof camera, like you'd take on a beach holiday etc would work. That should cope with the water seaping in if people were careless? Kittb

  5. Ohh I shall have to look out for that one :-) - camping close enough to go home if it rains too hard ;-) Kittb
  6. I'm not disabled but have used a walking pole. I just got the one that was available about 15 years ago lol but I think there are lots of different ones available now. It would be worth you speaking to an expert perhaps to make sure you make the right investment to help you enjoy your time outdoors. I think that pairs of poles are definitely recommended to balance the load. We've had good advice from George Fisher in Keswick. You could call for a chat? They take things quite seriously. Alternatively do you still have contact with a physio who could advise. There are different shaped handles as well as the shock absorbers etc to consider so you want to get whats right :-) Kittb
  7. I know this might sound a silly question but what do you put on your stamp? Just your caching name? I've only done a couple so haven't had a chance to read many logs etc to see what is expected? Kittb
  8. I have a feeling this is the same one I was thinking of looking at this post
  9. phew thank you. I just panicked that I had messed it up :-) now just to find a good place to move him onto! Kittb
  10. Hi This is my first travel bug. I logged into his page, noted that I retrieved him and posted photos. Then I went ot the cache page and posted that I'd found it and clicked on the travel bug at the bottom of the page thinking that this meant it would show him no longer at the location. Only now it shows that I have checked him back in and I don't know what to do messed up my first go. Help please? Kittb ps it is the Kings Cache GC16YNY
