  1. I'm on FF 3.6 but cant get any of the scripts to install :-(
  2. It's not what you say, its the way you say it. Personally, if it was the first cache they had hidden, perhaps a short log and a personal email to explain what could have been better?
  3. Wadders geocoin The above geocoin of mine has been missing for nearly five years and has now "popped" back into circulation again..........Never give up hope folks! Never give up hope!! Wadders
  4. I know that physical pins are no longer sent out, but would like to get the icons. I have enough to get the platinum level, but to i have to apply for the bronze first, then the silver.....and so on. Or can i just apply for the platinum and get all four? Thanks Terry
  5. Thanks Kev, i'll try that. Terry Yep that worked, only issue i have is that the icons are vey small!
  6. Thanks Kev, i'll try that. Terry
  7. I have the 750 Live you need to tick these 2 boxes: None of the above options worked, but i have now restored from an earlier backup and it seems to have resolved the issues. Thanks for the replies though. Terry
  8. I have a tomtom 950 live. Up until recently, everything was fine. I do a tomtom export from gsak, then copy and paste the export results into my european map folder. If i do a search for poi near me, they come up and i can navigate to it. However, they used to show on the map as i drove along and you could see them all, for some reason, they no longer show. POI in tomtom is ticked to show all types of caches on the map, but they dont! Anyone got any pointers please?
  9. Has anyone done one of these or does anyone know how they are done? I have the one for Tomtom which is great as it shows cache type, i'd like to find out if there is a similar one available for the garmin satnavs?

    Reveiwer?

HIya, i put an Earthcache in for submittal over a week ago now and have not heard anything from any reviewers, i have posted the same question in our own normal forums and no one has an answer. Who is the reviewer for earthcaches in the uk? How long is it likely to be before it gets looked at? Terry
  11. Anyone any idea how long Earthcaches take to get approval nowadays??/
  12. Spotted one over at the ebay place, location Cheshire. auction ends in around 6.5 hours. Link Here I also noticed quite a few other unactivated Garmin geocoins over there, namely 'Angel of the North', 'Big Ben', Clifton Suspension Bridge' and the 'London Eye'. I don't see those geocoins coming up very often. Hope you get this reply before the auction ends, good luck. Thanks, i did look the other day but there wasnt one there then!
  13. Has anyone got stuck in the back of a drawer that they don't want a Garmin Stonehenge geocoin. I am trying to pair one up with another geocoin for a canadian cacher. Quite happy to buy it from you. Thanks Terry
  14. My caching style has changed a lot over recent years, it used be a case of going out on my own driving a hundred miles to get 20 caches, then it just got silly after that!! I love to cache when i go on holiday, because it takes you to somewhere off the beaten track, just recently done Montenegro and Greece (corfu) and did two fantastic caches that would make my top 20, one was the because of the place it took us to, the other was about the journey to the cache! Also just done a 15 mile walk on Dartmoor in the snow for 19 caches, this gave me a real sense of achievement and it was a throuroughly enjoyable day, albeit on my own as everyone else was working And that leads me on to "social caching" a day out with friends doing a few caches, or after a particular single cache, sometimes it's just about the journey and who you are with. I've also addded a new dimension to my caching now, thanks to Stuey, the "Somerset well rounded cacher", and also looking at the days of the year i havn't cached on and trying to fill in those gaps, and also trying to complete some of those big series of caches, like the Alphabet challenge on Dartmoor. Will i ever give up caching........I doubt it, i may go quiet sometimes ad miss a few days, weeks, months...but give it up completely..Nah, never
  15. OMG, when did these pages change??? This may be a long shot but I'll give it a go anyway, When garmin gave away those coins some time back, one of them was of Stonehenge. A short time after i decided not to dotrackables or coin collections anymore so gave or sold all of mine I am trying to get hold of one of them, if anyone has a spare one stuck in the back of a drawer doing nothing i would be interested in aquiring it. I have a specific coin from a Canadian cacher that i want to pair it up with on it's travels. If anyone can help i would be very appreciative. terry
  16. Forget that, theyre back Close this topic please
  17. All my PQ's have gone................have yours?
  18. Is there a specific gsak output for a garmin Zumo?
  19. Ok i currently have a tomtom 950 which has a large screen and i use it in the car, so far so good, great piece of kit TomTom in thier marketing genius way have made all large screen tomtom's incompatible with the scala helmet headset By doing this they are hoping that "Geeks" like me may buy another tomtom specificaly for the motorbike from their motorcyle "Rider" series................funily enough, which are compatible with the headsets! However, they are a lot smaller, and i am concerned at having to take more than one glance at the screen whilst speeding along on two wheels.(although to be fair i would have the voice confirmation) Question; What navigational systems do other motorcyclists use? And can you get a similar export for geocaches as you can with tomtom via gsak?
  20. You can only run it every three days so I wonder if you clicked on the button and then straight onto the download page, if you did not refresh it then it would have been the old myfinds PQ. The red circle and white cross means that you can not delete that one (you can delete all the other PQ's ready for download). Ok got the red circle white cross bit. Thanks First time i have run it for a week or so, PQ says it has the right number but when opened in GSAK it comes up with 13 different Do you have any multiple 'Found' logs on any caches... Ye Olde Survey Monuments, for instance? No, but even if i did they should still show, shouldnt they?
