I think I was able to us windows XP on a 32 bit O/S, but don't believe I was able to create one since I have been using a 64 bit O/S like windows 8.1 pro

Using 64 bit windows 8.1 Pro Error During Upload System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> Exception of type 'System.ApplicationException' was thrown. at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters) at Wherigo.GSPCartridgeService.CartridgeService.GetCompiledCartridgeWithMetaData(GWZMetaData gwzMetaData, String CartridgeFileName, String CartridgeId, Int64 PlayerId, String PlayerName, DeviceType deviceType, String CompletionCode) at cartridge_download.btnDownload_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)
  9. Nope did not work for me either , not sure why people keep having to change things for the worst. So what I found... using firefox... not that it matters , there are two map modes. "Search Geocaches" which works fast no animation. And "Browse geocaches" which animates my profile gif icon, yes you can use jpg's, jpegs, pngs, I chose an animated unicycle. Actually it might be versa visa as you click it it toggles forth n back. "Browse" mode as it displays "Browse geocaches" is technically to me "Search mode" as you press it it will toggle back" when the white box says "Browse ..." it does allow me to move the screen with my finger, but does not updated the map as you scroll it. I will update this note with a video later ! scroll
  10. Also working on my Wherigo degree having fun debugging and looking a Lua code to add more functionality to my programs. It would be nice to see a finalized working version dedicated to Wherigo using Urwigo.

  13. Here's my download dilemma , seemed to upload no problem. Got the check mark saying complete, then I tried to download it to my iPhone, others seem to work. But the error is so cryptic I can't make sense out of it. Error During Upload System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> Exception of type 'System.ApplicationException' was thrown. at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters) at Wherigo.GSPCartridgeService.CartridgeService.GetCompiledCartridgeWithMetaData(GWZMetaData gwzMetaData, String CartridgeFileName, String CartridgeId, Int64 PlayerId, String PlayerName, DeviceType deviceType, String CompletionCode) at cartridge_download.btnDownload_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)
  14. Might be able to work on the problem with you, as I am working with the urwigo software on a windows 8.1 Surface Pro II, with many apprentice hours.
  15. Didn't check any other message dates or times. This is just a reply to this comment. NO, each player gets their own code ! And it is unique to the person who downloaded it. Each player should have their own code, Stompy and Stampy, Landon Smith have great videos on this.

    Garmin Monteera

Cool, but got an iPhone instead. Upgraded from an iPod touch 6 hand in hand with a Garmin 62sc , was going to get the Monterra, but went the other route instead.

    Urwigo

Finally got an iPhone 6s Plus, has more functionality and certainly better location sensing than the ipod 6. Was able to create them but test them was always and issue not to mention writing them. I have just about giving up on ranger as it appears that any corrections made after the first or maybe as many as four rewrites on the same line of logic goes into a fail, no win situation. Urwigo appears to be fool proof if you don't get lost in the wording of the commands or how to combine them. Going to try and promote it over here (Canada) , even if Wherigo are not supported, our London group is trying to keep them alive adding more to the area.
  20. Update April 12 2017 Topic closed - use an iPhone New topic : Urwigo's
  21. I believe the Monterra may but read this : http://peterdean.co.uk/wpblog/?p=197 It will all depend upon the google apps, I know I'll miss using my iPod Touch (6gen) in hand with it, if it works. But until Apple and Microsoft completely amalgamate it will always be a money grab. GeoSphere doesn't require a constant connection to the borg allowing you to connect on your time not theirs. All the more reason why they; geocaching & garmin won't work together - no profit ! At this point I still can't see owning s cell phone just to geocache, it would be the only reason to own one. The world has committed themselves to technology that keeps us tethered to bills & debt.
