Hi again! after deciding to use garmin express as advised, i had quite a few geocaches in a list, from a while ago and as i was practising! downloading these, obviously these arnt wanted on my GPS, so attempted to delete as above, but they dont even show in the garmin gps folder, is there another way to delete?

Hi, I have a garmin oregan 700, and previosly deleted caches in the normal way, after going into computer files clicking in garmin then gpx, and selecting files to delete, but now there are no caches listed at all, can anyone help please?

Hi, I have been downloading in IE for months, no problems, now no save As nothing appears, I have always downloaded as you advice above,this way, but nothing now! the message this file does not have a program etc appears in chrome! when clicking on download hoping you know the problem,

Hi, went onto IE to download single caches, as i have done previously, the yellow download window at bottom of screen does not appear, tried downloading chrome, but get this, This filedoes not have a program associated with it for performing this action, please install a program, if one is already installed.create an association in the default programes control panel. I cannot download from the cach page or the popup window on the map. i have used 2 GPS devices, garmin oregan 700 and450, please help! not very tecnical.

Wanting to upload some previous cache finds of mine, via laptop, but no luck. I believe there is a way, I have oregan 700, please help, just to do this walk again. obviously without logging as finds.

Am afraid this isnt normal, my device still not conneting properly to computer, and having to take batteries out to switch off. the last GPS I had sorted in seconds, thanks for trying to help.

Can anyone help please? just tried to delete preloaded caches on the above GPS, by deleting the GGZ file, now my Gps screen shows garmin logo, with message loading waypoints,tracks and routes, and this doesnt happen nothing else on screen, this is a garmin refurbished gps, had many problems with this model before, thanks.

The maps were on when purchased, maps most likely internal, cant see SD card, when powering up there used to be details of maps, nothing mentioned now, no maps shown when configuring maps in the settings. only pointer showing on screen with mauve line.

thanks very much, this now in order, but wander if you can help with this, when trying all these new ways of downloading, my maps appear to have disappeared, I did use easy GPS for a short while, ( no maps on, unless paid for,) but maps were possibly deleted since, not sure, went into garmin express, but no mention of downloading the UK map I want, only Europe map that I didn't update earlier, do you thnk I should contact them. there is nothing to suggest the maps are on the GPS I know I can get maps elsewere, thanks

Is there any way to get these files to be saved into the GPX folder straight away, this must have happened previously, thanks.

Kunarion, yes the files are listed under garmin, ( when I click the GPX In the folder the files are not in the folder) exactly the same is happening on an old oregan 450, all the geocaches are witin 25 miles, hope you have the answer!, and thanks yet again.

After eventualy managing to download to my GPS, using new methods, that is clicking Download on cache page the yellow bar appears at bottom of screen on IE 11, and asks if I wont to open ,save or save as, I click on save as, then the new window appears with the file as a GPX file, click save, then open folder as requested, and then send to GPS, last week this worked well, but today the files do not go onto my GPS, I have a garmin etrex touch 25, the files do show on the garmin folder, please help!

Hope those replying to me previously on downloading a pocket query to my GPS, don't mind me asking this, I have a garmin etrex touch 25, connected to my laptop via a usb cable, and a t last have succeeded uploading single caches, but would like to upload several caches at a time so I gather pocket queries are the way, but after a query as run, and try to download these, (or is it upload) the files are saved to a loc, then when I click save to my garmin nothing happens, can someone explain what I might be doing wrong, do I have to change this loc file to a Gpx file,? but how would I do this? Using E11 thanks again.

now managed to upload single caches on to my GPS, now trying to upload pocket query, but saves to a loc file, and does not go onto GPS, cant see how to change to Gpx file, help!

IE11 always used this for uploading to GPS, Only not working since this new setup. any more help would be appreciated, thanks

Kunarion, Yes its me again, still no joy at downloading, now trying pocket querries, but can you explain in the simplist terms, how do I download to a Garmin/GPX Folder, as above advice, I hav a garmin etrex touch 25 and use a usb cable

Thanks again, I used a send to GPS button from pocket queries the other day, but cant even find this today, as the new icon to download waypoints as also disappeared!

Thanks to these forums, with much difficulty, i succeeded to download caches the new way to my GPS, then today, the small icon that should be on the cache page, enabling me to download has gone! what is going on?

Hi, yes, it should be easy, just tried a pocket query, but a notification from garmin express said request error. there is a problem with the content being sent, try sending again. this done several times, do you attempt to change the file or anything else? any ideas, Thanks

Not sure if this is the correct place to write this, as not Very used to forums, but after following the steps in this new way of downloading to my GPS, no geocaches are on my device, after clicking the send to Garmin, ----- etrex touch 25, hope someone can help. thanks Robert Dyson.
