  1. I need some help. For some unknown reason, when I access the geocaching.com website, everything is in German. I've changed nothing. Happens no matter which computer I use to access, and all other URL websites read correctly in English (so it's not some system or browser setting that I'm aware of). Doesn't matter which browser I use either (Firefox, Chrome, etc). Suspecting it's perhaps a setting in my Geocaching profile somewhere, but since the webpages display in German, I can't even figure out how to read and find where the Geography/Language setting might be (if there is one). Does anyone have an idea, and if so, can you lead me to the setting to switch, knowing that I can't read any of the language on the screen. Thanks in advance.
  2. - I almost always (unless I forget), set a waypoint to the vehicle. Worst case, I set one as soon as I remember I forgot to set it for the car. - I usually have a string of caches that I'm going after, so I'm seldom backtracking the exact path anyhow. - I have a good reference of east/west from the sun position - I bought a Coleman magnetic camping compass at Kmart for like 5 bucks, just in case GPS dies/breaks, gets lost, who knows what. I'll have the ability to head out in approximately the correct direction. - Magnetic compass is good for tunnel caching, so you should get one anyhow. - I do have tracking turned on for my GPS, so it's there as a backup, but have not ever had to use it.
  3. For me, the challenge is finding the cache. Creative ways to hide are appreciated. Once found, I personally don't care a lot about what is inside, if anything.
