1. What do you like most about challenge caches?
--Keeps me enthused about caching.
--The satisfaction of qualifying for a challenge.
--I find more non-traditional caches and caches I wouldn’t have searched for previously.
2. What do you not like about challenge caches?
--Subjectivity of some of the answers, at the CO’s discretion.
--Ambiguous or overly complicated logging requirements.
--Some “finders” don’t qualify or don’t post a list.
--Challenges that restrict other cache finds in a particular time period.
3. What would you like to see changed about challenge caches?
--More clarity in the logging requirements.
--Better defined guidelines.
--Moving forward, assign a different icon.
4. If you could describe your favorite challenge cache type, what would it be?
--Challenges that require me to find a variety of cache types or visit interesting places I wouldn’t otherwise visit.
5. What types of challenge caches do you avoid?
I avoid challenge caches that:
--require significant driving in a short time period.
--only “locals” can meet.
--don’t sound like any fun.
--I’m far from meeting.
--require a lot of bookkeeping.

I experience the same problem. Using my iPad, when I press on the cache icon, no cache information comes up.
Power trails in the suburbs are bad for “Geocaching”.

Back to the original topic, In some of his cache descriptions, he's stated that he'll archive any of his caches to allow someone else to place one. ("If you want to put a cache here that is more clever just let me know.") In July, I put together a puzzle cache and one of the CO's caches was located about 100 ft. away from where I wanted to place the final. I contacted the CO, and he quickly and kindly archived his cache, so I could place mine.
