  1. I clicked on the My Finds tab and waited for it to run. After 10 minutes I checked the My Finds again and the date hadn't changed from 2/26/2010. So, I tried it again, waited 10 minutes, and it still hasn't run. Got a call from a friend saying he couldn't get his My Finds to run. So, is there a problem with the My Finds routine?
  2. Didn't get my scheduled PQ's this AM. Server must of hick-upped.

    A suggestion

I too like the notification on the web page that it's going to be down for maintenance. But, what's in the message needs to be adjusted just a little. The message said: "Geocaching.com will be going down at approximately 11 AM Pacific Time (GMT -8) today for regular site maintenance. Updates will be posted to the Groundspeak forums or you can follow us on Twitter to receive an immediate update when the site is back online." The word "today" is somewhat meaningless, is today actually today, or was it yesterday, or what. It would be a lot better, since you mention already mention "11 AM Pacific Time (GMT -8)" that you mention the actual day, like Tuesday (2/23). Just a thought.
  4. Take a look at GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife) . It's got what you want.

    PQ problems?

Didn't get my scheduled ones this AM.
  6. Great! I can put my sun glasses away.
  7. As with some of the changes the Bookmark page needs a minor correction. It would also cut down on the unnecessary white space. Currently the HTML for the direction and distance is this: img src="/images/icons/compass/W.gif" alt="W" />W<br />49.3mi The page would look better if the <br /> is removed and replaced with a " - " img src="/images/icons/compass/W.gif" alt="W" />W - 49.3mi
  8. Interesting observation. One of my friends has a wide monitor and surprise, surprise, most of the format changes look good on it. But, on my square monitor they look like crap. Do you suppose that the changes were checked out on a wide monitor?
  9. What happened to the "Return to list" link on the "Geocaching > Your Pocket Queries > Create/Edit Geocache Pocket Query" page?
  10. Haven't looked at everything yet. But, there is way too much white space on the New Pocket Query Page. Also, my Public Profile looks really ugly. Don't know what you did, but it looks like it no longer accepts correct HTML formatting.
  11. Those macros have been removed from the GSAK Macro library because they scrape the website and shouldn't be used.
  12. Are you getting .LOC or .GPX files in your PQ's? If you are getting .LOC files that's your problem. You need to get .GPX files they contain the last 5 logs.
  13. Oops. I missed Nate's comment.
  14. When are Attributes going to be put back in Pocket Queries and GPX files? I know we're waiting for the software developers that had problems with it to adjust their software, but does anyone know how much longer we're going to have to wait?
  15. It's all in the accuracy of the data used that provides the layout of the county. Some is very good and some isn't. But, something is better than nothing, and it would be nice if GC did provide counties and allowed it to be selected in PQ's. But, as said earlier, in some cases it would take more than one PQ to do some counties. For example Cuyahoga County, Ohio currently has 1171 active caches.
  16. It's just one of those niceties, and maybe to find out why they deleted it. With modifications, people add pictures (maybe of the cache location), or they may add spoiler.
  17. Had to bring this back to the top. I still have a concern when someone modifies or deletes a log on one of my caches without me receiving notification of it happening. Can we look forward to seeing something done about this?
  18. I've noticed this with some of my owned caches. I've had people post Notes to them and I don't get the email sent. All my gc.com stuff goes to a Gmail account, and I've never had a problem with them trashing anything from gc.com.
  19. I'll have to add my concerns to this. I've missed a couple of Notes posted to one of my owned caches. I checked my spam folder in Gmail, since that's what I use for gc.com stuff, and nothing.
  20. Works fine for me in XP and Firefox.
  21. Wouldn't be better if all reviewers did it the same way? Ours has us post a Reviewers Note. I like it that way.

    PQ problem

None of my scheduled Tuesday PQ's ran. Canceled those and created new ones and they ran right away.
  23. When I tried 44320 it came with caches from who knows where. But, where I used 44320 Ohio it worked.
  24. I had 3 PQ's scheduled to run overnight and only one did. I copied the other 2 to new PQ's and they ran right away. Something wrong with the scheduler?
