  1. 1000 Caches and a great night too ... AgingHippy 100 Caches and a great night too ... StealthSeekers Well Done AgingHippy and StealthSeekers at Fright Night. Great milestones for both of you.
  2. Nice reply StuartP but can you take that someplace else ... another thread maybe .. .and let this one remain on topic about Haloween events in general. SP .... you wish is my command ... another Ghostly site already ear marked for 2008 ... but was a little slow in agreeing for this years ... hence the contuance at Marston for one more night. Anyone with a warped sense of horror or humour that thinks of a (safe) stunt we might include in the trail of "things that go bump in the night"... email me and let me know ... there are some really really horrible things out there ... and I met a lot of them now
  3. Game on Folks .... GC15TQE ... Fright Night is LIVE ..... Cant guarantee scares as good as last year ... but we are surely gonna try
  4. 11:43am and its off again here .... damned rubber band snapped i heard
  5. You sly old burger Pid ... and they said you were jsut a cacher .... Still think we could both do one ... or email me and gimme some ideas .. share the scares Bob
  6. Totally agree with you Paul and plans are at hand for a different location after this years Haloween .. in fact I had sunday lunch there last weekend ,,,, and YES .. they do great Chips as well
  7. Glad to hear you are also organising an event. The Chainsaw masacre from last year will again be a possibility at the same venue as last year for me too, although this year I beleive its "Things that go bump in the night .... " I have a few things to attend to over the next couple of days and then I will get a page together too.... mine is a camping affair and its got a pub and it will undoubtedly scare the pants off any of the younger cachers that DARE to come along ... mind you .. it has been known for a few screams to be heard from Sue Phillimore and the notorious sister act that is Kerry and Nat So Pid ... lets organise weekend events a week apart and we can both go to both of them Failing that ... Have a good time ... cos we intend too as well. . . . . . . . . . . . BOOoooooo!!!!!!!!
  8. MORE NEWS ... Messe is setting caches as well .. numbers to be confirmed but looks like with those I checked today we should have around 20 new ones for everyone to enjoy!!! Weather forecast is Sun Sun Sun .... cya tomorrow if ya camping .. Saturday if ya not .. Happy Caching
  9. LATE BREAKING NEWS LIVE BAND for Saturday evening - 7 peice band along with the BBQ ... Loads of camping still available ... phone the pub direct - numbers on the webpage The weather is forecast great so book it now and come for the weekend. Off setting the rest of the caches tomorrow .. there are a dozen new Trads at least nearby ... sorry .. could quite get to JPs 25 !!
  10. Go for it Alice ... mine is primed and almost went out on its own this week .. so get it organised and loads of folks will join []
  11. Sounds llike a plan to me too ... so its Yay here as well Pid
  12. Congratulations to John and Sue Phillimore for finding their 1800th over the weekend
  13. Thanks folks ... the trail goes on and the events just seem to flow forever ... long may they last ... and pleeeeease cant someone arrange the summer to start again ... sooooon Bob / Jollyjax
  14. Of course we all have a choice here ... we can choose not to run applications that caches such as these demand ... we can choose not to solve or search for any cache we care to.... we can choose not to play this game at all We all play for different reasons, many play by different rules and have different ideas about what is fair or right, but who is to say that any other is wrong or less tolerable ... its a game, thats all, enjoy it.... Happy Caching Bob / JollyJax
  15. The Marston 2007 Camping Event (A Night at the Blitz) is drawing close .... Does Anyone have / know of the whereabouts of the Event Log books and can anyone get one over this year? And perhaps the Event Flag too ? Time for us all to book our camping here. Details are on the webpage. There are still a number of pitches available and with the addition of the new shower facilities, these are likely to go really fast now ... If anyone finds the inn is full, contact me and I can get details of other local campsites. I also have rail and bus info and maps for those that cant use a GPS Looking forward to a quiet weekend .. but not sure when that will be - Cya there!!
  16. Well Done Alibags .. another astounding Cache milestone .. especially for someone in a tea cosy 2000 caches
  17. Well Done to Ashaaria who reached 600 on Saturday ... that was a speedy 100 ...
  18. Are we any closer yet? ...... my tags attached and I am under starters orders ... Look at my interpretation of a dummy phone here .... (It was cheaper than a TB tag by a loooong way [] <Bump>
  19. WELL DONE Jon DewDrop ... ON 1500 TODAY ..... Hope the week off brings many more too Jon .. as many as you dream of .. as long as its one less than me
  20. Any warning you may or may not put on your cache page really has no bearing on the subject. I dont always take a TB on a whim .. but equally I never trade items into a cache to replace a TB or a coin ... unless its another TB or coin .... The TAT in the box stays where it is ... for me McDonalds toys and CDs nobody has ever listened to belong in the bin ... so I let those that like to swap these continue doing so .. and personally its TNLN ... Remember its only a game .. and we play the game as we see fit within the general rules of the road. Happy Caching - what ever that is for you
  21. Hmmm ... Well Done on 1500 ... you can slow down now ... its been hard enough catching up let alone keeping up with you ... and I am in an area that is far richer in boxes than where you are .... Where do you find the time? Catch up with you one day perhaps an event .... Happy Caching Bob / JollyJax
  22. Well Done Lester - the next 500 will fly past .... OZZ ...never was any good at Australian accents..
  23. WELL DONE THE PHILLIMORES ... ON 1500 YESTERDAY TOO ..... NOW ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS LOG THE DAMNED THINGS JOHN
  24. WELL DONE ON 5 Great to walk with you as always Ashaaria - especially as you "arent a numbers person "
