Cacher Of The Month 2006 Announcement
Ashaaria replied to adambro's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
When i went to register i noticed that my name is spelt wrongly in the list, it's Ashaaria not Ashaaira, is it possible to get it altered please? For reasons only known to my laptop, i can't contact you through your page. Thanks, Ashaaria -

I've mentioned caching on a rufty tufty motorbike site i frequent. To begin with i expected them to take the p*** in their usual style, but more often than not i've been asked for more information about it and pointed them this way.

Congratulations mister

If i find a cache that hasn't been hidden very well, or has simply been uncovered a little by wildlife or the covering twigs etc falling away when i leave it i make sure i cover it completely so it can't be seen unless you're looking. I've always figured that way it's less likely to be seen by muggles and makes a more challenging find by the next cacher

I started on BB's about 5 years ago on a motorbiek bulletin board, still there for my sins I lurked here for a while before taking the plunge into posting here, hasn't been too scary so far but have to remind myself i'm here and not the bike one where chaos rules

Scariest / Creepiest Things While Cacheing?
Ashaaria replied to Faye & Brad's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
LOL - or taken a bird home for tea -
Hmmm, i'm not sure that i like the idea that just because i'm not a fully paid up member here, that i might be considered less respectful of caches or of some kind of lower class, than those who have paid. Ho hum, 'tis just a game not a status symbol.

Scariest / Creepiest Things While Cacheing?
Ashaaria replied to Faye & Brad's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
Scariest has to be finding ourselves in the middle of a phasant/bird shoot while retriving one of Simply Pauls caches in Bucks, sorry can't remember which one it was. There were no warnings, or signs on the footpaths warning us what was going on. The cache was in a little hollow while the birds were flying over with people with shotguns looking down the hill at us! Not a situation i want to find myself in again. -

I hope she doesn't read the forums Anyone who wants to drop off a royal marine in a cache for me, i'd be very grateful I've got a lovely Royal Marine - but have you got something of equal value for me??! Hmmmm, define equal value and we might have a deal

Try heading from Oxon into Northants!

No don't cut the clues down to 3, 6 is alot for a multi yup, but it's not as if there far to walk between them all. In fact it's a pleasant walk around the woods so i'd leave it as it is. Afterall, you can never be too crafty - as you've discovered with Windy City
