  1. Paul, Nigel has moved pubs, he's now in the New Inn in middleton cheney. We've been out there a few times and it's nice. Drop him a line and have a chat.
  2. As i live there i'll have a ponder, but the Easington pub springs to mind, not in the town centre so plently of free parking?
  3. I've done a few underwater caches and the least successful was one of those metal water bottles - even the smallest amount of silt in the water clogs up the rubber ring seal, clogging it up and making it seriously difficult to get the lid off. On top of that, this repeatedly happening grids that ring seal and it soon starts to leak.

  8. Congratulations JollyJax on hitting the 3000 today.......i think that means the next pint is on me
  9. Ahhh well, it was worth asking and thanks for the reply I guess with anything it's just a case of getting used to new toys and the way they work....and for the price to come down a little
  10. Does anyone know if the new Magellan Triton series is capable of running the Wherigo cartridges? I use an old magellan for normal caching and have decided it's time to upgrade, but aren't too keen on the Colorado. Many thanks
  11. After several caching days in Northants lately - death by micro and micros hidden in places where a proper size cache could easily have been hidden and lain undisturbed.
  12. Nope it was on in the UK as i saw it, not as bigger focus on caching that i was hoping for though.
  13. Count me in, finally found where i put it from the xmas bash.
  14. Spats? Shoes for the old! Ahhh thank you, far too young for all that
  15. As far as i know i'm up to date on tetanus and had the Hep vaccine when i worked for the NHS. Thankfully i don't have a fear of needles!
  16. Third time lucky i might make it this year!
  17. But isn't that what i just said - that it isn't appropriate at caching events? Hence my comment that if anyone wants to bed hop etc that they do it at their own time and place.
  18. It's up to individual adults what they choose to do in the spare time (I tend to cache and drool over motorbikes that without a late growth spurt or stilts i'm never going to fit on!) but there are some things that really should be kept private. If people choose to spend the weekend swinging/bed hopping with each other, maybe they should arange their own 'adult fun' weekend instead of using a cache bash? What do they think of cachers up and down the country hearing all about their sexual exploits?
  19. I've been on TV twice for non-caching related things - does that count?
  20. The other weekend it wasn't so much the cache contents but what we thought was the cache that caused more concern. Searching where the gps was taking us we found what felt like a tube type cache container wrapped in a bag that matched the cache clue - it turned out to the a porn mag wrapped up in a bag and unfortunately we found several more of them before we found the actual cache. Obviously what the setter thought was a good cache location is also a late night hang out for the local teen lads
  21. Nice one Roy Now you can slow down and set another series for us I'd love our bash to be my 300th but i think that's being a tad optimistic at the moment!
  22. Evening Mister, good to see you wandered over here
