  1. You should contact the State Park before placing a cache. Some parks may be more receptive than others. The state park closest to me is Mason Neck and I don't see them approving a cache. I don't see them approving much.......
  2. I own an extrmely old Trimble Scoutmaster. It isn't as fast as the new GPSRs but it has a huge antenna and when you get into a really thick canopy it still works really well. Brian

The following two caches were setup with permission from the park managers: Upton Hill Regional Park Pohick Bay Regional Park Most park managers will really appreciate being asked before you place a cache. I placed cameras in each of these caches and I share the photos(hard copy) with the parks. The managers also check these pages frequently to read the comments left by cachers.
