I have a Garmin Street Pilot GPS (ColorMap) that I never really used and it looks brand new. It has a neat color display and will download Garmin CD maps. It comes with twist Dash mount. 12V power cord, and remote antenna. I do not have the manual so I printed one from the web. GEO VISTA EXTREX same crappe , little antenna with high cloud cover means trashy results. Sometimes your eyes and brain are smarter that any stuip box that eats batteries. Sometimes it may take 2 or 3 visists to find some micros

I was looking for a cheap mapping program so that I can run my GPS Vista VIA cerial to my 486 laptop. Any ideas of map programs that my work with a gps output that I could load in my hard drive of 800 megs.

Buy a dollar spray can of green olive and a dark brown paint .Put a little tape on the lid seal area. Spary the cache with brown. Then use some small oak leaves on a branch as templates and finish up with green olive paint. Or just paint it with a dark green.
