  1. I had this working a few weeks ago, and now it doesn't! I download the GPX file from Geocaching.com using Mapsource for normal Geocaching info on the 60csx. This part works fine. I then run the same GPX file thru GSAK creating a new file with additional cache detail in the name field, and hint info in the description field. Then I download that file using POILoader. The idea is to find the nearest custom POI and then read the hint info. I know I had this working the first time I tried it. I do get the custom POIs in the unit when I search for them. However, now, I get a blank screen after selecting the custom POI. I have read a bunch of threads, and found some info which seemed to maybe point to a bug in the POI Loader program. I've tried versions 2.2, 2.3.1 and the new 2.3.2. All had the same results. The GPS has the latest Firmware in it (3.00 and 2.70). Could the new 60csx firmware have broken this? Any ideas? Wouldn't it be really cool if Garmin just updated the firmware to display more info from the GPX file directly?
  2. On the 60CSX you need to make sure the route to cache is calculated in "Off Road" mode in order to see the special geocache page. I'm not sure if your model behaves the same way. Double check the mode selected (follow road or off road).
  3. Consider Amazon.com. Free shipping, competitive price and great service (they'll pay return shipping if unit is defective, etc...). It's $399 at the moment. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CSOXT...9249719?ie=UTF8 You can also order the Automotive Navigation Kit with City Select North America from them. It ships with City Select V7, but you should qualify for the free upgrade to City Nav V8 via the Garmin site once it starts shipping. This is $148 now. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000196C3...glance&n=172282
  4. Did you find an updated mapviewer? I've been checking periodically to see the changes also. The mapviewer listed on http://www.garmin.com/cartography/mapSource/citynav.jsp is labeled V8 in the link, but when you get to the actual viewer it still shows V7.
  5. Yes you can, there is a WAP enabled page that works very well on my phone. Use this URL: http://wap.geocaching.com. You do not need to be a premium member to view the non-premium cache's this way. All I need on my GPS is the waypoint code. You can view the cache description and hint after entering the waypoint into the site on the cell phone.
