  1. Most of mine showed up instantly, but Pluto and the Mega souvenirs have not shown up yet, even though they have already been earned this afternoon.
  2. I just earned my 527th point for Planetary Pursuit, but I was not awarded either the Pluto or Meta souvenir. Anyone else seeing this?
  3. Good catch on benchmark GR1860 A I -- when I discovered I had photos of all 3 and could make waymarks out of them, I shared your joy
  4. Catholic Charities of Dallas is a MEMBER of Caritas -- they run thrift stores to raise funds and items to help refugees and the Catholic poor of Dallas. Is this what you want to waymark with this proposed category, or will there have to be a sign that says specifically CARITAS? https://catholiccharitiesusa.org/members/catholic-charities-of-dallas
  5. I'm working on it :), but I need a few oldies (waiting since February) to be approved . . .
  6. But are these locations interesting? Do they overlap with existing categories like thrift stores and Medieval spiritual warriors? Is it time for a catch all category of Church-affiliated charitable organizations?
  7. By chance, were you there offering folks a chance to log your photo goal WM? http://www.Waymarking.com/waymarks/WMVJBQ_Hold_a_Live_Possum Yeah we were definitely waymarkers - not enough mud, blood, and bug bites on us to have been out caching, and the big honking cameras were a dead giveaway
  8. A Jackalope holding a WM sticker would be just perfect - Jackalopes, like waymarkers, are mysterious seldom-seem almost mythical creatures of legend
  9. My 2cents: I think the WM was approved appropriately and within guidelines in the SUPERLATIVES category, since there is no plaque at the site for someone to read about the event as required by the FIRST OF ITS KIND category guidelines. But I’m not an officer in either category, so that’s just a shout out from the peanut gallery. I hope this little waymark for our meet & greet will stand. But if I need to, I will make some phone calls and see what I can do about getting a permanent commemoration made for J&J’s. They were really great hosts, and we could not have asked for better hospitality from them. To bad I used up my Virtual Reward Cache creating a virtual on the Oregon Trail. If I still had it in my pocket, I’d burn it on J&Js, put up a story plaque, and all would be well in Waymarking world — LOL.
  10. And good pizza. And good beer And good ice cream across the square for dessert
  11. I don’t think the Texas Challenge would qualify because it moves around, and the Festivals category is more about local festivals that happen annually in the same town. Denton did have their annual Storytellers Festival that weekend, but the storytellers weren’t on the square - they were at the library.
  12. Congratulations Hamquilter Well done!!!
  13. We are making chicken empanadas for dinner on Pi Day Mama Blaster made the filling, and Younger Sister Blaster made the dough and cute decorations They were YUM!! Go see our log from today (14 Mar 2018) to see the pile o' pi pies -- the photo is too big to load here http://www.Waymarking.com/waymarks/WMNFKF_Eat_Pie_on_Pi_Day
  14. From what I saw of the investigation: 9 officers and members participated, and the vote was 7-2 to REMOVE RESTRICTIONS. Was this the final total?
  15. THIS ONE, I got! I have now voted in the poll. Thank you.
  16. Me neither, and it is now 2100/9:00 PM US Central Time zone/03:00 GMT I registered my vote in this forum, and it was accepted
  17. It means that as of 4:34 PM (1634) US Central Daylight time (22:34 GMT) I have not gotten the email you have sent all the officers and members. And an hour later, it's still not in my email in box. Would it be possible to post a link to the poll here and let the community respond? Then all the "I didn't get the email" stuff goes away.
  18. OK -- this one I SHOULD get, but as of 1634 CDT, I have not.
