  1. The easiest way to fill that grid is just go and change the date on a few 'Found It' logs. You've already got five events logged as attended on the wrong dates Mark I'm certainly not one for fixing my stats! I just asked a simple question and got the answer that I wanted. Until recently I haven't bothered with the calendar but just thought that for the rest of this year I would. Never a truer word spoken in jest! I've seen it done ... sometimes, this game brings out the worst in people, I mean, what's the point of fixing your own stats? That said, I am more than aware the geocaching app doesn't let you change the date, so as far as I can see if you're simply too tired to log using it on the day, tomorrow you'll need a browser to log them correctly!
  2. Thanks, yes sorted it now. It seems a bit erratic at the moment, but that just might be me. I have just looked again too and seen that it is now correct. Thanks for your help, both of you.
  3. How often does the cache finds calendar refresh? I have just decided to try and fill in the remaining blank spaces for this year. I had a gap on February 10th so went and found a cache. Checking this morning that space is still clear.
  4. It's also worth having a look in Staples, they have a load of shapes and sizes and it's just possible you might get what you need.
  5. A few times but the most memorable was last year when the student demonstrations were happening in London. Loads of police around and there is a cache right near to New Scotland Yard. We retrieved the nano without problem but just as we were about to replace the container I dropped it and it rolled under the police van parked next to us. We had to ask the officers to move their van so that we could get the cache. Needless to say we got a "what are you doing?" but once we explained all was well and we were on our way.
  6. Hi, well I'm new since you were last around. I am known as Jacaru. Welcome back.
  7. I don't know if this one would be handy for you at Tower Bridge. I haven't done it but know people who have and say it is a decent place to drop trackables. http://coord.info/GC2GNE7
  8. Not been missing as long as some, but one of my Border Collie geocoins that had been presumed missing has now moved on after 8 months over in New Zealand. It hasn't moved far, but it has moved.
  9. Light fingered...cachers......no!! I have had three ammo boxes taken up to now. If I put one out now I make sure that I can chain it up with a bike lock from a pound shop (99p shops are available) The caches of mine that go missing more than most are turtle pots. I have had one cache (replaced) from a turtle pot to a 35mm film case. No mention of it on logs until someone told me that I had listed the size incorrectly. I guess caching takes all sorts, I bet I don't ever get one of my 35mm pots replaced by anything larger though

  18. A local geocacher has posted a spoiler video to my new 5/5 cache on You Tube, I have asked him to remove it but he has basically said that he isn't going to. Is there anything that I can do about it. He is a Premium Member and has now posted several videos of local caches in the area.

  22. Sadly, some disappear into the ether for good, or disappear for months, or in some cases a year or two, then suddenly they appear again in a distant cache.
