Looking for a cube Lock n lock
Jacaru & Wemnog replied to MrCJDL's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
It's also worth having a look in Staples, they have a load of shapes and sizes and it's just possible you might get what you need. -
A few times but the most memorable was last year when the student demonstrations were happening in London. Loads of police around and there is a cache right near to New Scotland Yard. We retrieved the nano without problem but just as we were about to replace the container I dropped it and it rolled under the police van parked next to us. We had to ask the officers to move their van so that we could get the cache. Needless to say we got a "what are you doing?" but once we explained all was well and we were on our way.

Need to drop some trackables in London
Jacaru & Wemnog replied to GoldCircle's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
I don't know if this one would be handy for you at Tower Bridge. I haven't done it but know people who have and say it is a decent place to drop trackables. http://coord.info/GC2GNE7 -
Not been missing as long as some, but one of my Border Collie geocoins that had been presumed missing has now moved on after 8 months over in New Zealand. It hasn't moved far, but it has moved.

Light fingered...cachers......no!! I have had three ammo boxes taken up to now. If I put one out now I make sure that I can chain it up with a bike lock from a pound shop (99p shops are available) The caches of mine that go missing more than most are turtle pots. I have had one cache (replaced) from a turtle pot to a 35mm film case. No mention of it on logs until someone told me that I had listed the size incorrectly. I guess caching takes all sorts, I bet I don't ever get one of my 35mm pots replaced by anything larger though

Seeing that you have a bike have a look at this site, it is a very useful listing site for circular and linear walks and rides. http://www.geocachetrails.com/ -
Yes, I have been getting that on and off for a couple of weeks now. During the last few days it has been really bad though and I am having to do exactly the same as you.

Basically I don't feel that I am wrong, people have different opinions.

A local geocacher has posted a spoiler video to my new 5/5 cache on You Tube, I have asked him to remove it but he has basically said that he isn't going to. Is there anything that I can do about it. He is a Premium Member and has now posted several videos of local caches in the area.

Sadly, some disappear into the ether for good, or disappear for months, or in some cases a year or two, then suddenly they appear again in a distant cache.

When you touch the forward arrows you will get to it in the menu. It is a yellow and red flag and says Man Overboard. Not sure whether the PC brigade would like it, I bet they would prefer it to say person overboard!

We have the MO on our Oregon 550t, having said that, we wouldn't use if for finding the car. If we needed to we would use the mark a waypoint feature instead.
