I cache in tantem with a nuvi 260w and an Etrex Summit. My Nuvi has decided to not load the pocket queries. I know the unit is connected because it shows up and the querries have loaded into my Summit handheld so I know they are good. I am doing everything the same as usual but the nuvi is not cooperating. Has any one had this issue and how can you remedy it? I have tried to load the files onto an SD card but that dies not work either.

About 40 miles to the south of me is a town called Climax, Kansas. There cannot be a town with a name like that and not have a cache in it. There is nothing unsuitble about the cache but there is some inuendo(SP) in the logs. I think I logged that I got there earlier than I expected to.

In my area there are only a few avid cachers that race to a new find. We have a $2bill that has the finder and cache name on it for all of the caches it has visited. Eventually it ends up as the FTF prize in the next new listing, gets some new writing and on and on.

A while back I found a near Ghost town, the population has dipped under 20. There was a century old small bank on the corner that still had a vault in it. There were no doors or windows and the best thing, it was owned by the "City" and not a single no trespassing sign. What a great place for a cache! I got my hands on a drive thought tube from a bank (legally, it was damaged) and rigged up a watertight housing for it. This afternoon I drove the 20 miles to place the cache. The city has sold the property to an individual and now there are No Tresspassing signs on the building. I am bummed! I will try to track down the owner and place my cache, this location is too good to let go.

This past weekend I did a cache that was called I believe "Something we just have to do" It was in the back part of a cemetary (one thing we have to do, Die)and the coordinates indicated I had to go into a building. I did not want to go in without permission so I went back to my truck and read the clue. Into the building I went. It was a long forgotten outhouse, one other thing we just have to do.
