Wait a minute. What??? We had winners? Y'all would tell me if I won, wouldn't you? I know I was naughty and gave up on the thread for awhile. Well, you see I had all these geocoins to log and organize. Then I had to work really hard to get up to 300 cache finds! Woot woot.. since January! Then, I've been hiding caches, replacing caches and participating in missions. Whew! So much to do. But I never forgot about y'all or this thread. Honestly, I have been riding washers around in my car. I can't come across one without picking it up! Hey! Is RK in the address book? Can I send him these washers? Seriously, where is the post about the winners? Thanks all! I'm off to a local night spot to hear my husband play his guitar and sing songs to me. Everyone else has to hear MY favorite songs!

After being gone for two days, I had lots of goodies in my mailbox today. Some are purchases and some are trades with Sunsetmeadowlark and with Surteb. Thanks for the awesome coins! The Earth Turtles are so much bigger than I expected. They really are too nice to be geocoins.

I am interested in having some coins made. I have been designing them in my head and think I finally have something that can be drawn out. Unfortunately, I have no drawing or artistic skills. I'm crafty.. but not artsy. I know I can hire someone to put my ideas on paper. My question is: can a tattoo artist do it? If I see a tattoo design/style that I look and and think, "That's it!"... and if I could work with him, could the art we produce then be used for a coin? Thanks for your help.

My Mom taught me a love of flowers, growing things and gardening. She had me planting petunias when I was 3, growing herbs at 7, and making flower arrangements at 5. To this day, I'm happiest when I'm outside digging in the dirt, tending plants, and arranging flowers. Yesterday, I went to my homeplace and picked roses from every bush I passed. I left two BIG bouquets on the graves of my Mom and Grandmom. Today, I came to the home of my husband... picking roses all the way here for a big bouquet for his Mom who is 84 and lives with him. It's bittersweet, but wonderful. Happy Mother's Day to all~
